I just binge watched helsreach parts 1 through 13 the other day and Grimaldus is officially one of my absolute favorite characters in the lore. For a chaplain from the Black Templars he feels very "human" over stepping boundaries to fight for what he believes is right, keeping his promises, telling a titan princep to wait while he prays, he's awesome.

So the warp should pretty much stay the same.I if the tyranids win they basically do the same thing as the C'tan "if you eat all the souls in the milky way you eat the warp".

Vega Mantid necron’s want to seal the warp while restoring their dynasties, the tyrannids want to just eat everything. This would lead to a fat loss for chaos either way, yet we are to believe there is some warp like entity with the hive mind. Either way you take that though it would essentially kill / stop chaos as a whole, at least as we know it.

The Imperium would be overjoyed, at least until he saw all the superstitious bureaucracy and started furiously exploding heads. The custodes would surely obey without question, as would the Grey Knights. Once Guilliman met him, he would probably be able to test his legitimacy. Then he would send word to all loyal chapters that their granddaddy was back. Then they would all crusade against the Inquisition and crush it, and submit to gradual re-education. Dealing with the Mechanicus could be the real challenge. All that machine spirit nonsense would have the Emperor incredulous. His second real task would be his Imperial Webway, making Warp travel unnecessary. Then trying to teach the Imperium to be less medieval. Whilst killing all aliens (except maybe the Tau?)
