I want to ask. My questions... 1. The reality that we can see right now is that in this universe there are trillions of trillions of planets and galaxies. If there are countless trillions of trillions of planets... maybe not only planet Earth has living creatures inhabiting it...? For example, if there are a trillion other planets that have living creatures like Earth and its inhabitants are various types of non-human creatures, would Jesus also be God on those one trillion inhabited planets...? 2. The real facts that we can know right now... the earth is approximately 10 million km, the sun is 1.3 million times as big as the earth, and there is a star called U Scuty that is tens of billions of times as big as the sun . If the celestial bodies were super massive in size like that, the number in the trillions would be uncountable. How big do you think God the Creator is, bro...? Maybe God is only as big as the man Jesus...? 3. According to scientists, the universe is more than 13 billion years old, whereas according to historians, Adam and Eve only existed about 7 thousand years ago. Based on this science... maybe the universe has been empty without any living creatures inhabiting it for more than 13 billion years...? So what was Jesus doing for 13 billion years before there were humans, Adam and Eve...? Please answer me!!!!?!!!

I don't think you are facing up to the extent of the problem. The "If you don't believe what we believe then you go to hell" claim goes much wider than Christianity vs other religions. It's a Christian vs Christian problem. When I was around the age of 20, I met a group of Christadelphians who were just as convinced that my Methodism was damnable heresy as I was that their Christadelphianism was damnable heresy. And we used God's clear, infallible and inerrant word, the bible, to prove our case against each other. ^^ For the past 2,000 years Christians have faced this problem and have never been able to resolve it beyond labelling each other "damnable heretics" or not "real Christians". Read your bibles and you will see strong hints of this mutual finger pointing there. It continues today.

So you're saying what Paul does in the Bible is wrong? We have false teaching in the Bible?
@rolandwatts3218
@rolandwatts3218 5 ай бұрын
@@DiggitySlice Of course. Paul got some things right and some things wrong. I have no good reason to think he was infallible in everything he wrote. Even if a Holy Spirit existed which guided Paul, it would not mean that he became infallible in any objective sense. Consider all the true Christians who claim guidance by the Holy Spirit, and yet also disagree with each other. How can one possibly tell when any Christian becomes infallible in what they say? Two thousand years ago, and today, Christians are as fallible as the rest of humanity.

@@rolandwatts3218okay so you are rejecting the Bible. You are saying that the Holy Spirit is wrong. You _actually_ are not a Christian.

@@DiggitySlice //okay so you are rejecting the Bible.// So what? Christians are always rejecting each other's interpretations of the bible. //You are saying that the Holy Spirit is wrong.// I don't think such an entity exists. Nevertheless, Christians who claim to be guided by it are often rejecting each other's interpretations of the bible. //You actually are not a Christian.// Correct. What is wrong with not being a Christian?

God doesn't send anyone to hell. If you all would read and understand the bible, you would see that you are given the knowledge of how to achieve salvation. God has given us free will. It is then your choice that determines whether or not you go to hell. Stop blaming God for your choices.

But Jesus said, "No one goes to the Father except through me", being in Heaven is living with a eternal life with God, if you someone rejects Jesus they are rejecting God and therefore he cannot force them to go to Heaven...

Why do you believe in a heaven? Just because you want somthing to exist isn't evidence that it actually exists.

/Why do you believe in a heaven?/ Well, Jesus believed in it, so that seems like a good reason to me. /Just because you want somthing to exist isn't evidence that it actually exists./ I completely agree. Not sure the relevance of this sort of comment though. The flip side is also true. If you mean to think that my evidence for heaven is the fact that I believe it, you would be wrong about that.

@@LindeeLove /Could a man named Jesus have been wrong?/ Well, Jesus has a human and divine nature, so in principle, given that, no. He couldn't be wrong about where he as the second person of the trinity as spent eternity before being born here on earth. Again, if you don't share this view I can see how you would be skeptical. But that is not the same thing as telling me the reason I gave is not sufficient for me.

The title of this video is well chosen and provocative, and something I sometimes wonder about as a non-Christian (a student of Vedanta). So, you do believe those who don't believe as you do, they're going to hell? It sounds like you do, but you find it difficult to just come out and say it, without going on and on trying to justify it. No, I'm not a pluralist, or one who thinks all religions lead to heaven, or even that all religions have the same goal. But speaking personally, I do find it hard to take seriously a religion that teaches those who believe and practice as we do our all getting eternal heavenly life after death, and everyone else is going to hell.

You say you're not something, yet you act like you are. You act like Christians are closed minded, but you are closed minded for rejecting it. We have more than enough historical evidence to say that Jesus really did predict and accomplish his own death and resurrection. No other religion comes close to having that level of evidence to support it. And Jesus made it clear, there's no way but through Him.

/The title of this video is well chosen and provocative, and something I sometimes wonder about as a non-Christian (a student of Vedanta). / Thanks! / So, you do believe those who don't believe as you do, they're going to hell?/ I think Bobby was pretty clear what the essentials are. Can there be disagreement about secondary issues? Of course. So to claim that one must hold all the exact same beliefs as us is not the case. But faith in Jesus is the only way. /But speaking personally, I do find it hard to take seriously a religion that teaches those who believe and practice as we do our all getting eternal heavenly life after death, and everyone else is going to hell./ Why? Truth claims are all exclusive. Why would truth claims of Jesus be any different?
