Also you should definitely try Deliverance, it’s easily one of the most beautiful games in my collection and really evokes the classic fire emblem style of characters on a grid map battling while trying to keep the darkness track managed. It’s my wife and my go-to 2 player co-op game right now.

Those are all great games. Some of my top ones were mentioned, some were not. For now my 'never get rid of games' are: - Marvel Champions: LCG (lots of theme, amazing amount of content, and it's super heroes) - Oathsworn: Into The Deep Wood - WOW, just WOW! The not so mini miniatures. The story. The boss battles! Whew.... - Lost Ruins of Arnak (great card play and I really enjoy the theme) - Mosaic (amazing civ game, my favorite of the genre, simply a lot of fun to play) - Dwellings of Eldervale (lots to like and very different for me)

@@OneStopCoopShop Well to be honest there were a few... 1- Arkham Horror 2nd Edition with all of the expansions would give you over 40 investigators and 20 something bosses to fight... each with their own special powers and abilities 2- I am surprised that not a single war theme game was chosen on any list including the COIN games... I understand that you only have 5 to choose and you have to be picky with your limited choices I would of liked a greater variety which would of been nice to see... 3- And of course you missed the biggie of the genre - Dominion with expansions... which give you enough different options with just 1 expansion that you couldn't play every different combination in a lifetime of trying... I do like Mike's inclusion of Sentinels of the Multiverse which is a good pick, and the viewers really saved your bacon by choosing Dune Imperium, Ark Nova, and Final Girl... so good for them

@idjester I think pretty much all of us prefer Eldritch Horror to Arkham 2nd, but it’s still a great game for sure. I (Mike) am the only one out of the 6 who plays war games consistently I think, but yeah none of them quite rose to my top 5, though I have high hopes for Red Dust Rebellion with I P500ed. As for dominion… it isn’t solo/co-op is it? I don’t think it qualifies for the list 😅

I played it a couple times, not solo yet though. I enjoy the stronger low-cost cards, and the sandworms are a fun thematic touch, but it didn't feel drastically different from the original, and I miss some of the upgrades they added to Imperium with the later expansions. - Mike

@@OneStopCoopShop As a veteren of dune imperium, the stronger low-cost card makes a more satisfying deckbuilder. Plus, you can play any of those two expansions with uprising.
