Just got mine a couple days ago and after 33 miles I am having a blast.... I suppose I would be a one wheel grandpa- at age 60. It’s as much fun as skiing and snowboarding!

For everyone showing up here like "omg can't wait to ride mine!" pleeeease wear a helmet! Especially if you're planning to use one hand to hold a camera or a coffee or something. I'm 40 and I wear all the pads. If you feel like you're really good at bailing and "running it out," you can skip the elbow/knee pads, but never skip the helmet. I also really like the 1Protect finger gloves with hard plastic palm pads.

I loved my time with the XR was a lot of fun but have since moved onto EUC, still love the one wheel though

I had some high anxiety after you saying it was your first time on the Onewheel and then you're riding it along the dock and the seawall, lol. I'll have to check out Pedego next time I'm down there.

That is cool that you are trying to grow your channel. But if you want to be a positive influence to the onewheel community than ALWAYS wear your helmet, no matter how confident of a rider that you think you are.
