I've been having oatmeal for breakfast at work. Work provides "free coffee" and they also have packets of/for Swiss miss hot chocolate. I mixed in a package of Swiss miss, add hot water when I get to work and then eat it 2 hours later on break. It's pretty good. I'm thinking about trying a version of this to make oatmeal bars. 🙃

This is similar to Dr. Kempers rice diet. Rice and fruit. Great reset diet. By eliminating so many other foods, and just eating rice and fruit my eyesight actually improved and no allergies. With the rice diet, you can substitute oats, etc. I think I will do for a week since I have been eating junk food recently and I need a reset/ cleanse. Love your channel and easy recipes that save me money. On a fixed income and you give me inspiration.

For folks trying to eat foods with a lower glycemic index in the oat department, you may want to try steel cut oats, or regular rolled oats or even whole oat groats. Also if you're eating oats pretty regularly I'd aim for getting organic oats that don't have pesticide residues of glyphosate.

Hi! I am new to your channel and I’m hoping that you see this comment. I found the seven day oatmeal weight loss on Pinterest. So I came to KZbin to find out a review on the weight loss that people were experiencing. I found your channel… And I’m watching this now. The seven day day meal diet that I saw on Pinterest was eating oatmeal for seven days but at dinner time you have chicken and vegetables and I think one or two days you have fish and vegetables like a large salad I realize you are vegan, so the chicken wouldn’t work for you I am wondering with this particular oatmeal challenge did you experience weight loss? I don’t have a sensitive stomach, but I generally try to avoid carbs as much as possible because I think just looking at them makes me gain weight Please, please any suggestions that you have I would most appreciate it! Happy to have found your channel 🩷 I also have osteoporosis very severely and have experienced a few fractures so my activity level has been very low and I have gained about 10 pounds so I’m hoping with time I will be able to start doing some form of activity.

If only flour/pasta/packaged breads, have you ever tried only unbleached, unbromated, nonGMO, organic flour in recipes? Wheat is highly processed and toxically grown if you get the typical grocery store types. If you have and that still causes problems, have you tried soaking the flour based recipes for 12 hrs first or making sourdough breads/batters? Those methods denature some of the sensitivity causing components.

Like I shared, I don’t talk much about my personal GF experience but I’ve had allergy testing, elimination diets and I found what works best for me and I can’t do wheat. It initially worked but then my blood sugars and A-1C started going up ! I stopped all that went high fiber , low fat , moderate protein and it all resolved ! I eat as much vegetables fruit oats low amount dairy moderate lean meat ! It works screw keto carnivore it wrecks the body long term the fat impairs our cells which CAUSES THE Insulin R and diabetes then your body can’t handle the carbs ! The carbs are NOT THE CAUSE ! I check all Blood work numbers too ! The proof is there !

Really fun video. You are so creative with what you do with oatmeal! I have been whole food plant based for years but never thought of some of these recipes! Yum and looks easy too!

While I like oatmeal I couldn't do just oats, fruit and veggies for a week... trade the oats for brown rice, that I could do.

I love oatmeal but all the warnings about phytic acid & its effects on teeth have made me afraid to eat it.

Don’t take any notice about people against the microwave, that’s rubbish, it’s excellent for cooking and quick. Had one 60 years and no cancer, not the same one 😂😂

Hi I have a question I’ve been plant-based for a while and I lost too much weight and it’s so hard to gain anything back do you have any suggestions of what I should eat to gain some weight

I can only speak for myself, because I’m not a nutritionist so I don’t give professional advice but when I eat HCLF, very little oil it’s not enough for me long term. Because I can’t eat a lot of fats like nuts and seeds, I do eat more oils than most. I eat more vegan treats on weekends and enjoy large amounts of food that isn’t always “whole food” I found a good 75/25% balance of whole food + treats keeps my body weight set and my body happy
