Do they? I've been subbed to them for a while because ive probably watched some of their videos a long time ago and liked em. But I don't remember much about them (I usually support a lot anime reactors who put out atleast avg quality videos, these guys do much more) and only now they've started a show that is one of my most favorites, my top 2 actually. My only problem with reactors in general is that they don't pay attention entirely and miss out on things small or big. There's only a very few out there who pay full attention and I enjoy them so much. It's also why I appreciate people pausing the episode when they want to speak their mind without missing out on any dialogues. Since idk much about these people here.. what I could tell from this video is that the guy def pays a lot of attention without turning his head away and the woman has a lot to say (which is dope) but she moves her head away towards him (causing him to face her too so not to ignore) and potentially causing both of them to miss out on a few good dialogues. So I feel like she can talk all the while looking at the screen or pause the episode and resume once done. No one would be bothered about it. This is simply positive feedback. Paying attention to the dialogues will only help make their experience better since Haikyuu has a lot of amazing ones.

@@abeldnite There's a lot of inconsistency in Naruto and although a lot of its earlier messaging has been lost by the end of Shippuden I believe that recently people have just started parroting PlagueofGripes' video too much. I agree with some nuances in this statement but not as an overall declaration and what actually annoys me is people thinking Naruto's main theme is the underdog when it's about making connections with other people and understanding each other literally from the first episode when Iruka sensei saves the boy in which resides the monster that killed his parents.

Best shonen? If you consider Naruto Gintama Onepice as continuation , AOT as senin, Hunter Hunter as remake, Mob pysco and one punch as kind of unique shonen.. Yeah haikyuu is the king of modern shonen

This show is way more than just a sports anime. It has awesome character development, and it's not just about volleyball. It portrays a lot of realistic situations people go through in their lives. It's so damn realistic. This writer is a genius

I rewatched Haikyuu 3 times, I watched so many reaction, I finished the manga and read the final arc 2 times, it still makes me cry realizing that it's over. I don't wanna go through this again. BUT I WANT WATCH your reaction. This show is too good, I won't get tired of watching it.

Haikyuu got me into sports anime. I didn’t think you could make sports so appealing without having played it. Haikyuu embraces shonen to the core. There are definitely some things I would change but it’s pretty good.

If I remember correctly, I believe this anime actually came about during a low point for male volleyball in Japan. It actually inspired a lot of the boys/men of Japan into a sort of revival of the sport and brought it back from extinction, essentially. I don't know all of the details, but I think that's about the gist of it, more or less.

Haikyuu is definitely one of my favourite animes. It is story of an sport rather than one person or team. Every small detail is important in this show. I recently finished the manga and there some details plots in the first season found its conclusion at the every last arc. I am so fucking looking forward to your reaction to this.

Before, I didn't like volleyball because I practiced it during sports lessons and I was bad since I watched Haikyuu, on the one hand I improved a lot, even if I am far from having a good level, on the other hand it has allowed me to motivate myself to do a lot of things ! What makes Haikyuu so much better than any shonen anime is relatability!! Whether Hinata or Daichi or Tanaka or Noya or Suga or Tsuki or Yamaguchi or Asahi... Nd so many more ppl frm other teams.. everyone will relate to the viewers to a great extent..!! Not just the games are relatable nd realistic.. the characters aren't one dimensional.. as the story progresses.. all characters get three dimensional!!!

shonen sports anime are cool slam dunk:playing basketball for loved one major:journey of a baseball freak Hajime no ippo: to become something by strength and boxing Ashita no Joe : life of a man who pursued boxing Diamond no ace:to never give and become op?(another baseball freak) Kuroko no basuke: basketball is most fun when played as a team and so on Haikyu is the rare sports series that balances the sports exposition and character motivations and I totally love it.

This is really surprising so far Carson is the only person I've seen in reactions to not mind Kagayama's treatment of his team. Maybe he had an easier time understanding Kagayama's character because of how logical and critical he is on most reactions

I love this show and as great as the character's arcs, progressions, and development are, the main hook for this show, to me at least was the volleyball. the shows name literally translates to volleyball lmao, everyone puts emphasis on the shows characters but to me, the characters are more of a vessel to show just how great of a sport it is, the author wanted share his passion and love for the sport and that he did, he legitimately skyrocketed the amount of players joining highschool clubs in japan through the serialization of haikyuu. much love, hope you guys fall in love with haikyuu as much as me and many others have. edit: I know a lotta things make haikyuu out to be slice of life esc but it is waaaay more shonen than anything lol
