I started eating here from 1995 - before that babai used to run a place near benz circle and he moved here in 1995 . He is very patriotic - you can see Bagatsingh pictures all over the place and he is a hard core communist . I don’t see grandpa in videos anymore - May be he got retired . People come here for many reasons - one softness in idly second chutneys ( Ginger chutney is so unique that you won’t get it any where ) . Even MLA or MP has to come in line - no exceptions . Without shy I can say this - my record over here is 34 idlys in one sitting 😂😂😂😂. Of course I lost to my friend in competition - he nailed it with 38 . People are commenting negatively about this idly and prices - you have to remember one thing - No one restaurant can satisfy all types of customers . And more over this place has lot of Fans where it won’t matter if you don’t like . It’s a trend setter . Period . When ever I go to India - this SSS idly is on bucket list .

Anna i went there in march 1st 2015 after staying one month in manthana Satyanarayan ashram. In that ashram food without salt,oil, chilly powder, rice for one month. After stepping out from that ashram the next step directly to sss idly .I ate nearly 20 idly's . It has been 5 year's but I didn't forgot that day. I became a Big fan of the sss idly.

This is very special place in Vijayawada I have tasted the idli. It is very tasty and fluffy. lot of morning Walkers used to come here on regular basis to taste these idlies. They named these idlies as white medicines. Open chesi chala samvastralu ayina Ade ambience maintain chestunnaru. Pettina Kotha lo water kuda oka Pedda kunda lonundi ichhevaru. Avi chala challaga vundevi.
