As much as I LOVE my big sister, I'd NEVER think to give my lil' niece an Iphone, let alone allow her access to anything online related, without my supervision. Kids can be VERY curious, as I certainly was, and it led me to certain places online that I aim to make sure my future adopted kids, as well as my future nephews and nieces, would NEVER witness. I'd gift them with Iphones once I believe they're ready, as they grow and reach an age where they can separate reality from fiction. This site, and everything it's done to both men and women, blurred folks' understandings of what REAL relationships are. I've no interest in any women, unless God decides otherwise, whenever that may be, but relationships ARE important. They really are.

Excellent analysis Lana. Yesterday I listened to another channel hosting "creators" and "critics" engaged in (moral) debate. I've never tuned-in to "creator" content. However, NOTICE.... all stereotypes have origin and cause. After watching and listening to "creator's" in debate, I was left with the impression that each individual woman was a stereotype in process of becoming. CONCLUSION: stereotypes are like tattoos..... skin deep, lacking in moral authority and intellect, and sure to mark the solipsist for life.

Such an important, but somehow sad and alarming topic, Lana. I'll confess: the logical path to these thoughts is an easy one - I've never signed for an OnlyFans, but, I had a discussion one day where the argument "a relationship is way more expensive than virtual ones or occasional sex" quickly popped up... but, so what? Cheaper and easier very rarely, if ever, get you the best of something/someone. The impact these "Apps" have, in my humble opinion, is far from limited to the public using it - producers or consumers. It damages the very fabric of social interactions, flattening them, forcing us to redefine the limits of what's socially acceptable and/or where should our judgement start or stop. And this is a very, very big issue nowadays, as even criticizing such behaviors sets you as "old fashioned" and can be socially destructive... But what is old fashioned thinking? Still carrying values? \o/

As always, even if I don't agree I still think those videos are very well made and you make excellent points^^ But, you said something that was very disturbing to me : "Creators put a price on their bodies. And to do that you must first view yourself as a commodity" You made here the very dangerous argument that the creators ARE their bodies.That selling their bodies is selling themselves. I'm sure we can agree that it is untrue, and that's objectifying the creators to a worrying degree to make that point. Maybe it's the reason you struggle with onlyfan, if selling your body is the same for you as selling your soul. Of course, no one would take that bargain for a few quick bucks. But it isn't, selling your body is selling your body. You can keep your mind and heart for yourself. In anyway that was a lovely video even if I don't agree with it ! Keep up the good work

I understand the distinction between the outer life (the body’s circumstances) and the inner life (which is called the mind and heart, the spirit, the will, etc). But are these lives not meant to be united in one? Is the body not a part of the whole self? When the inner life is physically apart from the body, we call it death. When the inner life is metaphorically apart from the body, it is like a kind of death of the heart and mind, as long as the separation lasts. The inner life has little to no influence on the physical world in this state, even though it is the right of the living to be free. And you may not have realized the meaning or history of what you said, but the idea that a person’s body can be sold to others while they keep their own inner life is a justification for slavery. There is no amount of selling people which is not a consummate wrong: evil to do to another and tragic to do to oneself. It is true that the heart and mind cannot rightly be purchased, but it is because no part of a person can be, including the body. To try to purchase any part of a person is to commit fraud of the worst degree, and is a crime against humanity. So we see that to say in the general sense “to sell oneself” does not mean to literally cause person to actually possess another, but it is a poetic way of conveying how all-encompassing the harm of slavery is to human life. And may we not forget that no one could ever “sell themselves” if there were no buyers who demanded it in the first place…

While you'll get no argument from me on not simply allowing the downfall of intimacy, I have to throw my hands up and ask what is to be done? How exactly do you campaign against OF? On one hand porn has faced attacks from multiple interest groups who hate each other (like both feminists and religious groups) and yet it is still happily ticking along. It's not like we will be eliminating the desire for sex and validation anytime soon either, so what do we do?
