Too Big To Walk?, sees participants clambering over styles, snacking illicitly and bickering over who's going too slow, to say nothing of the sniping provoked when 22-stone Alice Duxbury checks into a hotel one night rather than staying in a tent like everyone else.

There was a study about it that u read + wrking out does induce autophagy in ur body the same way keto or IF does. The guy who said alcoholics and junkies are more accepted than overweight people is wrong. The only difference might be that some addicts may be able to hide their addictions for a bit longer than food addicts but they are treated just as bad, if not worse, by the general public. Here in the US, the gvmt spends little to nothing to provide effective treatment and support services. They are content to let these people go homeless, and instead pay the police well to harass them. General public are vicious too. IMO, I think that a daily diet with 1800 to 2100 calories would have been more reasonable. I think the strict diet was part of making good television, it set them up to binge. I find a 400 calorie lunch is fine if I am not going to be active, but not if I am hiking. I feel quite sad for Vince. He seems a nice fellow. Gary is a kind man, too. I think they should have cheered for Hayley’s 7.7 lb weight lost. Yes, she whines, but most of them (not Gary or Vance) are quite cruel to her.

The most important thing for these young people is to learn how to change their attitude about food. Without cutting the high carbs and sugars they won't loose much weight. It's 85% diet, 15% exercise. I wish them all the best
@lindagray1809
@lindagray1809 3 жыл бұрын
They won't learn anything with tbose poor dietitians! Why are they not loaded up with magnesium powder, vitamin B, loads of tasty spices, nutitional and Brewer's yeast, and masses of veg? Chickpea burger patties with sauces and hearty sourdough rolls will stop junk food cravings. Sweet potato airfried fries, cacao chia puddings...they are set up to fail with poor advice.
@eviekelpie1
@eviekelpie1 3 жыл бұрын
@@lindagray1809 I agree 💯. Diet is 85%, exercise is only 15% of loosing weight. They need low carb higher dietary fats to fill full and satisfied. Also, these young people have food addictions. Their relationship with food needs to be addressed otherwise all the exercise in the world won't keep them on the weight loss journey

Matt is an a-hole. He doesn’t get it. A person needs to start lowly and work up to the marathon. You don’t motivate people by tearing them down. Encouragement works so much better, and the patient has a more positive attitude. Having a food/eating addition is no joke. I know. I have struggled with emotional eating and weight problems all of my adult life. I am in my late 50s. Weight up, weight down..Everything is an excuse to eat. Negative events result in the person eating in response..that comfort food.. celebrating means eating.
