@@user-ly4wt9xp4i hard relate. I found intermittent fasting helped me cut down on sugar so long as I planned a really big filling meal and fruity snack for eating periods, but also if you stash fun size chocolate bars in the freezer they're harder to plough through all at once but help chocolate cravings. Cake is still my weakness, I'd be that guy ruining the experiment cramming all the cake in. However, I don't think sugar itself is the enemy. it's okay to overeat a bit on holidays tho, its a short amount of time and usually we are quite active when we are on trips (sight seeing, walking around etc). so if we overate for a week but were still burning a lot of calories, then went home and ate normally straight away again, we would maintain our weights. so yea, i agree, when i'm on holiday i love making the most of buffets

But if the body is already having eaten a ton before then it makes no difference really. Prior to the exercise she would have needed to spend the day in the gym just burning off the original million meals.

intense exercise does increase our needs for carbs and protein (to replace glycogen and repair muscle) and I think protein is more effectively absorbed in that hour after, and a recovery drink will contain carbs too. I believe in the 21st century with Google and Siri, not knowing is Not an excuse. Ask Google: How many calories are there in 10 tablespoons of oil that I add to my dish? In a profiterole? In a tablespoon of butter/sugar/peanut spread? etc. How many calories does an average woman need? How many calories do I burn within an average gym workout? Do a simple math calculus and voila! A mystery of excessive weight is solved. Not knowing for these girls is a convenient way of not assuming responsibility for their weight, and blaming some mystery while finishing the 4th meal a day.

It is not physically possible, unless you have a medical problem, which then you should probably get checked. Also skinny people who say they have “a fast metabolism”. Both are annoying lol.

cat lover Like I said unless you’re a 4’ sedentary woman midget with hypothyroidism or a 7’ buff man I doubt your metabolism is slow or fast enough to automatically make you fat or skinny. Actually fat people have higher metabolism and skinny people lower respectively to maintain their body mass. Overweight people underestimate how much they eat and underweight people overestimate how much they eat in 99% of cases. If someone’s counting their calories and something’s still off then they should see a doctor definitely because losing or gaining weight without trying are actually signs of a lot of medical conditions.

I'm in the states and just discovered this show and I'm loving it. I'm so glad nobody ever follows me to the store. I buy candy and snack cakes just like the sisters but I make sure to only buy brands and flavors I really really don't like for my husband and son. Because I'm trying to lose weight and I can deal with it being in the house as long as it doesn't call to me. I have lost 56#s in 5 & 1/2 months.
