I've lost track of how many times, how many languages, I saw Batman 89. First in different cinemas in the States and Europe, then even more times through video rentals, then owning it in laser disk. Could probably quote most of the film at one point. Anyway, as I believe you mentioned, it was all so new and fresh back then that there wasn't time in the enjoyment and thrill of it all to worry about, pay attention to, or be concerned about anything mentioned in the two clips you watched. It was just insanely entertaining at the time.

The big guy in the cathedral almost beat Batman to death in the book. One of few guys to actually break Batman's bones. Then Batman cheap shots him lol. In the movie it didn't give the fight much justice.

This was one of my favorite batman films, but I do prefer the Christian Bale. However, Pitch Meeting made me realize just how many bad things he did. I remembered he killed which isn't right, but the again technically he kills in all films. It is just more so the way he does it.

There isn't a pitch meeting that I've seen that I haven't liked. I love them all. But I personally think this one is my Favorite pitch meeting he's done. That's my opinion. I think it's sooo funny. As far as my favorite Batman movie that's been released. In my opinion, it's a tie between Batman Begins and Batman Dark Knight. Batman Begins was my very first Batman movie i ever seen and we saw it in theaters in 05'. From that moment on for years i was obsessed with Batman. I like Batman 1989. Mostly for the suit and Batmobile and Batwing. But the Batman begins suit is my Favorite Batsuit. I'm all over the place with this comment lol. Regardless, I'm in the same boat. I love Batman. He's by far my favorite DC character.

If you want a gothic/gothicly(?) aesthetic, and sometimes almost campy Batman movie, you should start with the one in this video, Tim Burton's 1989's *BATMAN* . If you want one more grounded, and "plausable" watch The Nolan Trilogy, starting with *BATMAN BEGINS* .

For the honest trailer, in case you don't know, the Joker says "I'm of a mind to make some mookie," which essentially means "I'm in the mood to f*ck" or maybe to like seduce her, but at that point it is unclear. Not sure about the rhubarb thing, but that certainly won't be leaving my mind for a while after hearing it after so long. Normally I would also have a quote for the pitch meeting, but honestly there is far too much to quote, although the hallucinations and the whole Batman having sex with and groping Vicky without consent thing are definitely good mentions. Since you are in the Batman mood, honest trailers also made one for the Adam West Batman movie in the 1960s, if you are interested of course. Anyways, thanks again for the reaction, I really enjoyed it!
