I had the same issue. Smart TV’s use up a lot more bandwidth than other devices such as laptops and smartphones. In most cases, you need high speed Internet for your smart tv to function properly. For me, I went ahead a purchased the Google Home WiFi (which I would highly recommend, although a bit pricey). It solved all my problems with my smart tv and I had a very strong signal in every corner of my house.

Onn sucks. Seriously sucks. They are cheap for a reason. Please think about spending more money on something that works so much better. Screen freezes, controls are delayed, apps crash ( it’s not the apps), screen goes blank, unemployment, covid, inflation,etc. easily the shittiest tv you will waste money on.
