I am a pilot myself. Any passenger bringing in any kind of drugs that are not prescription and authorized is a federal offense in itself in the US. It more than likely is in Europe and many other Countries. If she had been in some other Countries, then she would go to Prison. It is a liability for the Pilots and everyone involved. She was not handcuffed and allowed to film for several minutes. She was probably treated more then fair. The Officer also explained the arrest for drugs. We are also only seeing what she filmed and not what led up to the incident. I did not see anything based off this video, to suggest that the Pilot or Law enforcement did anything not under protocol or unprofessional.

Don't the luggage have to be inspected through airport security and also customs since she was flying to another country , especially to the U.k. that isn't part of the European Union ? So how did it make it onto the plane ? If they had discovered the drugs in her luggage then she should have been stopped before boarding the plane and removed to a security facility at the airport and questioned if anyone else had packed her bags and if she had possession or visible contact with her bags up until the luggage was turned over to be checked in . Celebrities travel with many handlers that are responsible for their luggage and it is not like they are handling their luggage themselves . The authorities will usually take this fact into consideration concerning celebrities and will question them before thinking of arresting them . If the drugs were found in a bag that is in her personal possession then yes...arrest her , but luggage that many people probably had possession of is a reach to be arresting her for a luggage that isn't in her possession . The most is to confiscate the drugs and to advise her to designate one person that will be responsible for the monitoring of her luggage at all times .

This is exactly why she got caught. She is responsible for her belongings and bags. This is also private aircraft and not an airline. There is no TSA, but all passengers are background checked and cleared to fly. Everyone wants to give an opinion, but the reality is that she had drugs in her possession and is at the mercy of whatever agency arrest her. These are the facts and nothing to really have an opinion about.

In the Netherlands you are allowed to film people in public, but not publish without their permission. So no livestream. Also, an airport isn't public property. So she was filming illegally. Filming a border guard could be a strategy for a trafficker to make them uncomfortable and let them pass quickly. Which could have triggered the search.

Just an FYI Cannabis is illegal in the Netherlands, but it is tolerated for recreational use, especially in Cafe's in Amsterdam. What you cant do is take it on a plane. Just like you cant in the US. Federal law trumps state law in the US regarding transporting weed through port authorities.

That gives police an option if they want it that isn't typically used. Just like any larger city you will smell it here and there in public but it's not officially LEGAL. I don't know the laws or procedures related to this incident so I can't say much about how she reacted or how the cops reacted.
