Onyx Boox Nova Air - Can a 7.8" E-ink Tablet do it all? My first thoughts.

For a daily organiser. . .Is it possible to have the lock screen be divided to display something like: important events, daily itinerary, if room maybe a section to leave a line of inspiration & current selected reading material?

I have looked at so many review videos and I can't determine if this device will do what I need. I'm a writer and I prefer a gel ink ball pen (NOT reg ballpoint) and moleskin size notebooks. I want an eink device where I can get the notebook experience, has the capability to transform writing to text when wanted, and will then as easily as possible sync those writings with onenote, evernote, or something similar. I don't really want it to just sync a word file with my writings (like supernote). I want it to sync like the remarkable 2 but without the subscription. I also want the smaller size like supernote A6. Can someone tell me which device fits this description? So far it sounds like the answer is none.

Hey! Do the physical buttons replace tapping right and left and can be used in other apps such as Kindle and Kobo? Or is it designed to be used just for the Boox Neo reader app?

I’ve used it for Tachiyomi and Kindle. I don’t have Kobo but it seems like devices treat the buttons as volume buttons so you can enable it in your settings

Nova Air had been my option for my note taking with a proper smaller size & slight weight for one hand. However, I choose another bigger one, Note 5, instead. Because of two major issues of Nova Air, battery capacity and glass screen. Two obvious bad reasons to abandon this device.

Still haven't found an eReader I like. What I want does not exist, yet. A 9" DVD-case sized reader with as little bezels are possible. If they can make a no-bezel device... even better. Bonus points for decent speakers and text to speech software. Double-bonus points if device colour can match display colour. Don't need pen input or note taking ability. I want a large focused reader. Kindles are too small.

If it's going to be for reading, I don't see the need for something without bezels. Cos where would you hold it while reading? My hand's gonna touch the screen itself, I'd hate that.

@@andeleon6838 He is just taking nonsense. Says he wants a large focused reader, but doesn't want bezels to hold it. Plus he wants decent speakers and text to speech software. He clearly is not looking for a device just for reading.

I would like a calendar, the ability to write on pdf files and send them back to the computer, and take notes on books. Does this do all of that?
