One year my Mom made me a homemade cat costume, sadly I got chicken pox and couldn't go out! For me I liked the free candy, especially the regular sized ones!! You two make me laugh, thank you!!

That looks mouth watering delicious! I learned canola oil and some vegetable oils are inflammatory to our bodies. It’s the way they’re made and what they use to make them. I switched to Avocado Oil for baking especially and Olive Oil which I’ve used forever. The Avocado oil is delectable. There’s no taste of avocados. I buy mine at Costco. You might want to try it you’ll be surprised how nice everything turns out. 🤓

As an FYI. The whisk tool with a stand mixer is best used for beating egg whites and the paddle is better for mixing other ingredients. Love apple cake.

My sisters and I had a neighbor lady that made Carmel Apples for all of the kids on our street on Halloween. When they were done, she would call us over to get them. It is such a wonderful memory for me ❤

This was a fun video full of joy and laughter! I've made my share of Apple Dapple cakes. My Mama made them also. It's in an old cookbook that a friends church published. We used a bundt pan and it made a beautiful cake. Thanks for sharing this classic recipe. I might just have to make one soon.

I've made the same style apple cake for 30-40 yea but have always used a cream cheese frosting. I am going to try your brown sugar glaze next time. Thanks for the idea! (The only difference in my recipe is that the vanilla goes in with the wet ingredients)

As a matter of fact, I just made four loaves of it this past Sunday. It is so condensed and delicious. You can’t have a lot of it very filling, I love it!

I always share with my next-door neighbor, and I told them if anything crunches when you eat the cake, you did not chip a tooth...there some eggshell in the cake by mistake! So Papalapa is not the only one who screwed up with the eggs 😮
