As a nami player I felt this was painful to watch live. On Nami’s turn at 6:41, he didn’t swing the Laffitte to kill it, giving BB one more draw. This means that the Usopp swing could’ve gone through, or minimally the BB would be able to use leader ability 1 time less. To counter the Burges swing at 18:54, he committed the kaya instead of spending all of his don. BB had already dropped the 10c character so he had no more cards in hand, meaning the nami would’ve known he had access to his on plays next turn. And he left 2 don open deciding not to use white snake to draw 1 more, or maybe save the kaya and use 1 Love Love Mellow instead because at that hand size it would be hard to get the draw on all of them. Also for the BB at 21:59 he knew the nami had no active don left, he could’ve swung 5/7 or 6/6 with DocQ to force nami to drop his hand rather than 13k and just give the blocker. Overall a truly bizarre game for this level of competition IMO

I believe u can negate blocker bc it is also an ability/effect My 1st thought, Nami will lose just by matchup then by the 2nd thought, Nami Does play a lot of event cards. But man 1 more turn or just a bit more of draw luck and it would went with Nami. I love this kind of matches, it's thrilling.

Nami is pretty much the only deck Blackbeard can play aggro against. You gotta be really unlucky as BB not to hit your Burgess given how many searches they run. Fun Fact: Jesus Burgess - his surname is pronounced the same as Jesus Christ and he's born on Dec 25th as well

I already expected the Nami to lose the moment I saw she was leaving the Lafitte and then the Doc Q on board Surprisingly, it was closer than expected But as someone who doesn’t even play Nami, even I could notice some key mistakes in the plays there I don’t know how long they’ve been playing, so part of it could be due to mental fatigue, but that was a bit rough…

So you generally only swing at characters! As Nami, you don’t want your opponent to have access to more cards, so swinging at life & your opponent adds a life give them more play options to counter you!

The character who explains the name says in the original Japanese that it's named honeycomb because it has pirates crawling in and out like a honeycomb full of bees. But in English he said it's named Fullalead because it's been covered in craters from cannon and gun fire. Basically it's a joke that the island is full of lead.

Nah i don’t think it was that bad of a play. It costed literally all of the BB’s counter in hand, just 1k off from getting the 7 cards.

Totally. 8 don for nothing and loses 2 lifes. Correct play: hit 6 with leader and pass. BB just use 2k to counter and next turn you will have a better chance to hit with ussop.

I don't know how to play Nami, tbo, but I'll never play it bad as this guy... Let lafitte and Doc Q live, instead to hit with nami and even with kaya... Also at 16:30 when BB don't have any card in hand, he didn't attached a don to nami and attack to trash one card...

I think that turn specifically he was needing the don for his counter events to get out of turn. If he didn’t play the Magurite, he probably would have done the swing
