Looks like you have a charging problem as the red no charge warning lamp failed to go out after engine started & you revved it slightly a couple or so times. Have you checked the dynamo is actually charging or is it down to the points in control box needing a clean?

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. :-(((((

Wow, that sounds shitty. Here in Chile they plan to do the same thing, but you know, 3rd world country, it'll take at least 5 or 10 years more. I just bought a classic 1300 Volkswagen Beetle (my dream car since i was 6, im 22 now), and I dont want to use it for just 15 years. They should make an exception to classic/old cars, because if most of the cars will be electric, 2% of cars using gas shouldn't be something to worry about (There are around 289 million cars in the US, and only 5M of them are classics)

Thank you for the information, highlighting about the future of cars with the internal combustion engines. It's sad to see the demise of these types of cars which is going to happen so soon. I live in South Asia and I think the same rules and regulations will come here too.
