A man was found dead in his Opelousas home the morning after Christmas and police are investigating it as a murder. Opelousas police identified the victim as John Davis, 39.

Nope! It happened to TWO of my nephews (gang-related) only six months apart. They did not stop until they killed them, one was shot at least three times before until they finally killed him, stated, they weren't going to stop until they got him, over a three-year period timeframe, he served two years in prison and a few months after being released, they killed him.

I'm just speculating here, but I'd suspect he did eight years for a crime that would have warranted something much longer, and someone just collected the remainder of that debt. Either that, or he owed somebody something else when he went in.
