💚 YES!!! Love your love for beautiful fabric! I think on a plain colored couch, (out for everyone to see) large pillows and tube shaped pillows would do that fabric justice!

Love this design! I also bought her Pop Open Pouch pattern, which is a rectangular version of her Open Out Box Pouch. Thank you, and stay well! Muskoka ON 🇨🇦

I loved Aneela Hoey’s ‘Little Apples’ and ‘A Walk In The Woods’ fabric lines and the complementary embroidery book ‘Little Stitches’ - the cute girl on a swing is so adorable. But I didn’t know she made patterns too. I really like this one, thanks for showing us. Those Anna Maria Horner prints would make adorable dresses on Preeti Harris’s “International Sister” block. She has a blog called ‘Sew Preeti Quilts’, where she has a free tutorial posted with all the measurements to make the block. Set on point, they look like a beautiful united collection of women in national costumes. 🎉

Wow. Such a cute bag. Love the fabrics you used. The butterfly fabric is gorgeous. I never thought to use the ladder stitch to close bags. I use it when I close teddy bear seams and it is relaxing and invisible. Thanks.

What to use fabrics for: Flat collar or wide v-neck tunics with rounded shirt-tails. If v-neck,use another bright fabric. Maybe cabbage-raid for any details? Includes side-seam pockets. Could use more than one for each(coordinating ones that were the same general pattern)side panel(L/R).Split pattern/color block tops are fab. Peace!

I know, if it was me, I would make hella slip covers for throw pillows so they could be removed for washing. But bags are good too with those new fabrics you said you wanted to know what we would do with them.

You could use pinking shears on curves if you have them instead of cutting tiny v-shaped cuts.

One of the patterns from Sew Sweetness would work. Many of her bags are done with Anna Marie Horner fabrics. A few of her bags are free patterns.

Hi, Mx. Domestic!! Beautiful job on those pouches!! The large scale prints you showed at the end reminded me that my teen asked me to find them a shirt pattern. They want to sew themself a few button-down shirts this summer. They love wearing Hawaiian shirts we have thrifted, but want to choose their own fabulous fabric. Is there a shirt pattern you’d recommend? Thanks!

Ooh thanks for sharing this! I went to have a look on her site, and she has a great variety of pouches that stand up on their own. This is great because I need something other than pencil cases to organize some of my purses; they just squish into the depths of the bag because they aren't flat on the bottom.
