Opening a MARIO KART WII TRADING CARD BOOSTER BOX

The Pokemon Trading Card game has NOTHING on the Mario Kart Wii TCG! In 2009, Nintendo partnered with a company known as Enterplay to make trading cards themed around various Mario games, one of which being Mario Kart Wii. To celebrate this channel recently reaching 10,000 subscribers, I tracked down a Mario Kart Wii trading card booster box full of fresh, sealed packs to open. What will we pull? Will we find a holographic Funky Kong?

Funny story: I got a lot of these card packs when I was younger because I was crazy about Mario Kart, Wii in particular. My dad and I played it together pretty much every day. There was this one period where for the longest time, I couldn’t beat him, and he would always use Peach. One day, I got so mad, I stormed off to my room, and crumpled up the Peach trading card that I had. The worst part about it was that I think it was a special foil.

the tattoos are mirrored bc when you apply them, they will be mirrored from what you see. if it's hard to understand why, just imagine you can see the pow block from both sides of the card. when you flip it around so that it's facing your skin, you'd be able to see the unmirrored pow block

They've been out of production for a long time now, but you can still find packs (and occasionally, full boxes) for sale on eBay.

The reason the tattoos are flipped is because when you put them on the tattoo gets reversed, watch one get put on and you'll see what I mean

It’s a bit weird in this case tho since some of the tattoos are just the normal renders (Yoshi on the Mach bike), so when you apply them, the tattoo is technically ‘wrong’. I guess they on,h flip the image if said image has text on it, but I’m confused as to why they on,y went partway and didn’t just flip everything preemptively
