Really enjoyed the Japanese MCs. And I do hope people understand that *YuGiOh IS a Japnese product, all of it.* It's not just some random OCG product over there as americans like to label it in their typical western-centric fashion. It's their game, they made it. So I feel it should deserve more respect and its cards as the cards in the original language of yugioh. I remember when I was a kid if someone had japanese versions of the cards he was a boss, even back then we knew where the game came from and treated it that way. So many card names in eng versions still have japanese names like raigeki, yami etc. Even the prints are much better than either NA or European's in most cases. Like even the original version of the anime is so much more better than eng dub which was dumbed down so much. So keep it real people. Was great to see the Master Collections! Few comments: I think it was around Soul of the Duelist where the TCG and OCG sets started being more or less the same for a while. There were a few where both had the same lists, before we started getting more OCG- and TCG-exclusive cards. The OCG packs should just tear from the top to open, that's part of why they're so tall.

Damn, I wish I had any of these master collections. They look awesome. I feel like they put much more effort in making these OCG collections/tins etc. than in TCG with how they pack the promos and stuff.

The Japanese master collections are awesome! Especially master collections one and two for ancient gear golem and cyber end respectively. The promos are absolutely worth it. It's funny how all the ocg master collections are from the GX era and all the English ones are from the og era

I've never seen the MC in person except for the binders, but I like them very much, the OCG ones are so cool but I still prefer the TCG MC1 for the packs and the MC2 for the promos

14:50 the TCG and OCG unified sets with Soul of the Duelist. Before that, TCG boosters were combos of like 2 OCG packs iirc.

OCG always has the same cards in their sets as their TCG counterparts, except a small period they did OCG exclusive cards in their sets during Arc-V and when we did TCG exclusives and OCG imports starting in Strike of Neos. Between Soul of the Duelist and Force of the Breaker, we had the same rarities as well, it all changed in Tactical Evolution and we’ve never looked back since.
