Thank you for the information. We have a Sentry safe and it will not open using those instructions. Is there anything else we can try?

Dial a couple high on all numbers then rattle handle on last number, then try a couple low on all numbers and rattle. Don't force as certain parts plastic and break easily. Sadly sometimes important buts are also plastic and fail leading to potential drill open

If it is difficult or clicky to turn dial, do not force it. Make sure no pressure from handle when dialling, maybe give the door a firm press closed while someone else dials

@@SandVat certainly not clicky or difficult to turn the dial.. I would say there is a resistance to the dial turning though, but slight. It's had a history of being a bit finicky, but now it's just not working. Would drilling be the resolution vs. cutting the hinges off with a torch?
