To be honest, i've learned from your three (till now) tutorials much more then from any other. Great tutorials!

Debraj, maybe you can help: you have a big gap in the lower arm contour of the character. Thin line appears in this place in edit mode and it's ok, but i can see it also on the final render image. plus.google.com/u/0/109514611188920305480/posts/YHt6SvKdhgn

I can't think you enough for these Debraj. You're posting the most useful OT tuts of any on KZbin. My only wish is that you'd provide sample files to make it easier to follow along. Regardless, you rock. Please keep this up.

Great tutorial, and I'm especially fascinated by the part at 14:17 discussing another trick of using skeleton bone tool, particularly on how to roll the labels up and down to change different drawings of each limb or facial expression. I would like to learn how to do it properly when animating an character. Thanks!

Not only you taught us how to do rigging in OpenToonz, but also some techniques that would make our works easier. Thank you so much sir :)

At 13:19 how are you moving around the different body parts? [Edit: I used Vector Levels] After I select and collapse all body parts/columns (then create mesh and rig the skeleton), all the body parts are then part of a single level on a single Column, and will not move around individually. It is 2021, so maybe something has changed. Thank you.

I am learning from your very good tutorials on opentoonz. Trying to replicate what you are doing on Opentoonz Character Rigging part 2, I was stuck when it comes to hook tool! The hooks are not following the point where I supposedly hook them on! I tried to replicate that on both version 1.1.3 and 1.1.2 of OpenToonz and still stuck on that dilemma. I really would like to continue learning OpenToonz from you. Thank you very much for your tutorials.

Wow I love your videos !!! Ive tried this one with hooks but could only get it to work on raster layers..... Does it not work the same way on vector ? Many thanks .Mike

can you save the bone tool and replace different character to perform the same action? Example if I have Character#1 rigged for walk cycle, then I can simply put Character#2 on the same bone rig? This way I can avoid redoing same walk cycle for character#2 and so on. Does OpenToonz provide that functionality?

Hey @DebrajSarkar do you know if there's any way to connect a coulomb to a plastic mesh, so when the mesh distorts (because of the animate skeleton tool) that coulomb will follow the distortion on the mesh? The result would be sort of like you did here, but it wont work with ordinary hook points. PS: If there is no way can you "bake" a plastic meshes animation into a toonz layer?
