UPDATE: After the video posted, Txkflier pointed out using the sticks instead of the inputs avoids the limitation of rates. I confirmed it does work.

The older Pixhawks are arming this way. So now I can arming the FC together with the throttle OR can disarm the throttle seperately. Great Idea Thanks

Nicely done. But I feel it would be safer if L07 Sticky was a once only operation at start as it's not uncommon to have your sticks in the corners at full deflections for upright and inverted spins for periods over 2 seconds. Alternatively extending the trigger time of L05 Edge to say 10+ seconds so you don't inadvertently kill power during flight.

Yeah, there are options. People need to know how they fly and adjust accordingly.

Great video, but isn't easier to configure and use (and probably safer) to have arming on a switch?

There are lots of ways to do things on OpenTx. Most of these videos are intended to show techniques with some practical application. I try to avoid getting to subjective about how to get things done or what is easier. Lots of people out there with different ideas on what they need from their radios.

Is there a app for Chromebook or tablet that contains radio master tx16s ?
@RCVideoReviews3 жыл бұрын
Not sure I understand your question. OpenTX Companion is desktop software that lets you backup your models, and build configurations on your desktop vs. the radio, but it's not a Chromebook/Tablet app. It requires Windows, Mac, or Linux.

Nobody really does this anymore. We are mostly using an arming switch and possibly a pre arm switch. Good video though.

I wouldn't say nobody, the last three quads used all used the same process. Thanks for commenting.
