It is a little bit lower than the original. But Dimash can do everything so he also has versions with a extreme high whistle note that is much higher than the original. Check out the Diva dance Shenzhen version and there is a mixed version of this song in Dimash - Drunken concubine.

I discovered Demash in 2016 (he was so young), and I was immediately swept away! Sometimes it was really hard to find his videos or music clips. My husband and I loved him so very much, that we dipped our hard earned life savings , and went to his live concert in NY for our 53 wedding anniversary ❤! His concerts last 3+ hours with very short breaks. I think that there was 50 countries (maybe more) represented there. Not only was the concert otherworldly itself, but there was this undeniable feeling of connection and inclusivity among everyone in the audience ( whether you spoke the same language or not). Demash made us a part of this experience, so leaving we knew that us , and him had just had a once in a lifetime experience. Having communicated with other Dears, his songs are never quite the same, as he plays off the audience. We really didn’t get grounded for days, and this otherworldly experience has intrinsically changed us. I believe that he was sent to us from “somewhere out there” after an S.O.S signal from us earthlings. If you ever have the chance to go , please do whatever it takes to make the journey; you’ll never regret it❗️

Another thing he says when questioned about his range is "It depends" with a little secret smile. This was a Dimash concert done awhile after his performances in China at the I Am Singer Competition in 2017. What Dimash has done since then would blow your mind. He is well forth investigating! He is also an amazing actor in some of his pieces. As his voice has matured, it has increased in potential. There are no words to describe what that means! It has to be experienced!

Dimash sings the whole aria in other videos when he was much younger. He only sang the famous part at this one video for a bit of fun ❤ The soprano singing as the alien was unable to get the notes, so that's why it was digitally enhanced. It was meant to be impossible for it to be sung. Considering Dimash is a Man it's quite incredible. This was during a long solo concert, singing and dancing and doing a LOT of running around. Hence him being a bit damp ❤😂 You should watch one of his concerts, try the Almaty 2022 concert. It's on his official KZbin channel in 3 parts. It's 4 hours long. He says ww have only seen about 35% of him ❤

Love your reaction. If you watch Sinful Passion at the end of the performance there will be a man in a white shirt he is the very famous Igor Krutoy. A Igor Krutoy came out of retirement to work with Dimash. He has written music just for Dimash & his talent. In the future videos you would see Igor playing the piano you then know it is a song especially for Dimash. Dimash apparently said in one interview that he can sing higher than he's done so far, of course this is insane. He has also worked very hard over the last few years to improve his lower register, which is noticeable. Another fantastic young singer from the UK I would like to recommend is 20 year old Lucy Thomas. Many reactors have said she has the most beautiful voice on the planet. She has just posted a brand new video of the classic song "Unchained Melody" l'd love to hear your opinion.

In the movie the singing was machine generated. Dimash is not. So as far as I know he isn't an Alien. . He has done it in competitions. Watch the one in Singer. I am sure you have seen him singing Opera 2 as well. The song Vitas (Ukranian guy) sings. Dimash likes to push the envelope and if his English was fluent, he'd have even more worldwide success.

Another enjoyable reaction. As you already stated, Diva Dance is originally a song from the classic 1997 sci-fi thriller “The Fifth Element” starring Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich. For the scene, the song’s composer, Eric Serra, designed the piece with the intent that it would be impossible for a human to perform the high-pitch staccato sections. He had Inva Mula-Tchako, an Albanian opera lyric soprano, sing the notes individually so that they could then be arranged digitally and recorded. In the movie, this song is “performed” by an alien, Diva Plavalaguna, played by Maïwenn Le Besco. The staccati are reminiscent of "The Queen of the Night" aria from the opera "The Magic Flute." I wish Dimash would perform that vocal masterpiece once in concert. Although, he frequently does perform the piece as part of his warm-up before concerts. Chinese opera singer Zhang Jane sang her own rendition of the "Diva Dance," complete with a full orchestra, hitting every note almost perfectly without the help of a computer or digital aids. She even managed to sing some of the low notes. However, Dimash is the only male vocalist I know of who has performed the song exceptionally well, and in my humble opinion gave a superior performance.

Luv your reactions Gooble - especially since you are an experienced opera singer b/c I learn so much..... this is just my opinion but this concert - 2017 after Dimash has exploded on to the world music scene in China is the most powerful his voice has ever been....... today - he's just turned 30 & his voice has matured & even his speaking voice is so deep so overall he's getting better & better as a Vocalist but for sheer Crazy power & flexibility I don't think many in History can match this performance

You are correct, those with perfect pitch have said he was a half step lower than the original, but again they also said, that doesn't matter in the slightest. But the funny thing is, even though in this performance, he was a half step lower, I've seen performances where he goes so much higher. There is an Ultimate Dimash guide by KZbinr LiLaSi, it is incredible. Although currently she is updatingng her videos Part 1 and Part 2 are new and improved, and in Part 2 is that video about his range. Although when he was in his late teens and early 20s he used to say he's an ordinary tenor. Almost at the 5th octave. Wonderful reaction.
