i really love this show, and especially Australian version.Can't Wait for your reaction for ''before the performance'' and the title song ''love never dies''! They're great. And the beauty underneath changed years after and it has a cast recording you can find.

The disfigurement is quite different in the original musical from the movie. In the movie it looks like just a rash, in the musicals you can see the bone from his skull. So to me it does make sense that he scared Gustav when he took off his mask. Check out the video's from the 25th anniversary performance! Ramin Karimloo sings beautifully and you can see the phantom make-up very clearly.
