Men like these(or our women who served as well) remind me of a letter I got back in 2005 while on my second deployment to Iraq,and she wrote something like this;"I am a single mother of 2 children and we struggle here and there but I can only imagine what you all go thru in a foreign country under possible and out of nowhere attack,,I lead a prayer with my children every night before they go to sleep,knowing full well that my kids sleep soundly because there are Americans out there risking their lives for all of us,I very much hope that your own families live well and know that I have nothing but gratefulness for giving our country such warriors"..I still have that page from the Stars and Stripes with me until I am gone.
