Thank you spreading the word on this product. I’ve been using it 2 weeks and can see healthy nail growing out. My nails were so damaged from gel and dip manicures; I haven’t had one in 10 months and my nails are still unhealthy. Then I washed my car without gloves a few weeks ago, and my nails turned white all over. I had given up hope on getting healthy nails again. You’ve given me hope!

So, yes the product is good. But your healthy nail grow out is unrelated to this product. Your nails would get healthy grow regardless of this product. 👍🏼

This is a great product, also don't give up on getting your nails healthy, it takes patience, there is another product that is Fabulous as well Nailtiques formula 2, awesome, my nails are back to normal.

@emilioescobar7652, thanks for the tip! I am actually having my blood drawn tomorrow bc my nails have gotten worse…they are lifting up and have troughs in the middle. My dr says that can be signs of anemia or low thyroid! The nails are very painful because they are now breaking off below the quick.

I wish you luck, yes get labs done, I do take a low dose of thyroid pills, only b/c it runs in my family, and i've been ok, I also take biotin gummy bears, but definitely ask your dr about that, I would lay off any nail products until you get your results, in the mean time, I also once in a while when I have time, take my clear polish off, and just soak them in olive oil/water & salt, any oil, really helps get your nails back to normal, just saying.

I also have weak and peeling nails and found this product to be *amazing*. I used it twice a day for a week and my husband and daughter did as well (not even 1/20 of the way thru the bottle so this will last a very long time or pass it among your friends/family). My nails are much stronger and the peeling edges have grown out. It also made a difference in whitening my tips - but the product doesn’t claim anything about that. Overall, I am really happy with this product and kudos to OPI for the innovation!

Wow! Thank you so much for this super throughly done review! It would drive me crazy to have gone that long without oil and treatment on my peeling nails. You really took one for the team!! I just bought this, and plan on using it as often as possible. I wash my hands a ton during the day b/c of my job and no matter now much oil and Nautique as my base coat i still have peeling. I doubt i will be able to go with out polish for 6 days, but plam on using it for a few days to start then before every manicure. Thanks again for the great video!

Keep in mind that it’s important too to find the root cause of the peeling. Not just accept it, u know? This will help you but I recommend finding what causes it and trying to fix at the root case

I've been using this for 5 days and it is holding my peeling layers together on my 2 bad fingers and also making the other ones feel smoother. I have very thin flexible nails with very heavy ridges due to my old age, so they peel easily. 😂 The product has a lot of alcohol so I think my nails feel drier but too soon to tell if that will negatively affect my nails. Time will tell.

A swipe of alcohol on the surface of the nail won’t do any damage, so it should be ok as far as the alcohol 👍🏼 it evaporates very quickly and the drying aspect is very short term ☺️

I picked this product up at the end of June this year. I had some significant damage from a bad gel removal and had too much of the gel drilled off 😫 I've been using the product accompanied by the original nail envy. My observation was that it caused a burning sensation, which I heard can occur when bonds are being formed in the nail. Overall the strength I regained after the 6 days was worth it. My nails were really weak and sore but they seem to be healing swiftly when the product is used as directed.

So if your nail is over filed during gel removal, I’m afraid a lot of products are gonna burn :( this is due to the state of your nails and how sensitive they prob are. I’m glad it helped tho!

I have tested this out for 2 weeks or more and very impressed. My nails seem to have gotten healthier and didn’t dry my nails out like another brand. Opi said this was one only strengtheners over counter that actually penetrates the nail bed. Did you test out new vegan nail envy too? What think that? Do you recommend using to keep nails healthy too?

The Repair Mode is not a strengthener, it’s a different type of product altogether and it was concise and clear what I was testing. Now, the nail envy, I have not tested because I don’t even know what to test. It’s not claiming to repair, it’s claiming to “strengthen” but what does that even mean? It’s not clear to me what the claim is. Strengtheners in general help the nail while they r worn, and once u remove them, there’s usually no change in the actual nail. (As opposed to repair mode which actually makes the nail better).

I already use nail envy and I think adding this to my mail routine will definitely help mail growth. You mentioned piling nails. I have not done that in my routine. How often do you recommend oil the mail and where in the nail routine to do?

An oil that can be absorbed by the nail will help counterbalance all the water over exposure we are experiencing nowadays. Jojoba, avocado, coconut, almond, all of those work. My preferred one is jojoba

No, this will not help with that. U have to wait for that nail to grow out unfortunately. You are missing layers of ur nail. This product helps to adhere existing layers, but won’t put layers back.

This reminds me a little of that quote about "if you judge a fish for its ability to climb a tree"... u know? You have to see what they promised with this product, and then judge it against that. It's not the right tool for the problem you are having (if I understood correctly).

I used it for 6 days as instructed, after that my nails started peeling and splitting like crazy. No idea what's going on when I read the other reviews. Maybe there's something in there that my nails really don't like. I'm a bit worried now because I've never had my nails in a state like this.

I would first try to find the cause of splitting. Blindly trying products on advanced damage like that can actually be more harm than good (in general). Not that I think this would harm a split nail, but I just dunno. DM me on IG or email me and I can try to help your moms

Interesting. Mine often crack/peel right in the middle on certain nails because they are soft. I wonder if this would help. I have Mavala and it makes them hard but it doesn't address peeling.

Do you oil them? A lot of nail issues can be addressed and/or prevented with oiling. This should help with peeling but still u should see the root cause so u r not always in “fixing mode”

OPI has posted about this on their page and they recommend it. I believe their instructions say to wait 10 mins between applying this treatment and going in with the gel coatings. (I don’t know anything about white spots or the effects on staining, I didn’t have any I could test on, if I find out info on this I will share) 👍🏼💅🏼

There no much more to say about it, once the nails grew out I filed them until all damage grew out, the product just helps keep the layers in place so they don’t peel into the healthy nail 👍🏼 but I don’t have enough info for a new video… if u have specific questions let me know (email me or DM me, I don’t usually get notifications for comment reply threads 😭)

Meat? If that's what your meat looks like I'd consider going vegan. 😜 OMG! $25.00! LOL My husband has problems with peeling or more like chunks of nail chipping off. He likes to keep them painted so he's not to keen on no polish for 6 days and then what? He doesn't really have temporary "peeling" nails. He has nail explosions where chunks of his nail takes polish and nail layers right off. This happens often. So.. yeah. Not sure this is for us.
