Thank you for your thoughtful review! I picked up How Does Your Zen Garden Grow and Tempura-ture is Rising. You are absolutely right that it's a must-have color that photos don't do justice to. It also is a close match to this springs jackets and tops from Talbots in the shade Cactus Rose. Watching this again, I wish I had been able to get a small sample set of all of these.

I like the light blue and green one and the highlighter yellow. Also, I'm a sucker for any blue like that last one but I also consider it a winter shade. Those 2 purple-y pink shades with the shimmer that you didn't like remind me of some old nail polishes I had in the late 90s/early 00s and I find them ugly now. Lol Your hair always amazes me with how vibrant it stays after you color it. I've never seen anyone's color look that pretty!

I know what you mean about samurai breaks a nail. Like I love blue, purple, and pink together overall (actually my favourite colour combo ever) but idk something about the way that particular polish was formulated makes them look really strange together. I liked the “yellow highlighter” one. It looks more lime green in the video. The kind of teal but green I am wearing an almost identical one right now. 😂 The 80s fushia purplish was so extra back in the day. There weren’t so many fancy finishes like there are now. The other I remember well was a white pearly color with a bluish shift. I loved that stuff. Don’t see anything really like it even with all the choices nowadays. Probably was some weird mineral pigment that caused cancer or something 😂. Thanks for sharing. Always enjoy your voice. And hair. And makeup. ❤️

So seeing the collection sitting behind you just makes me think this whole collection was made for those gorgeous bold eye shadow colors you wear and bright and beautiful hair colors. (Creepy not creepy) but when i see a combo of like bright colors that are just loud and awesome i always think of you. I was at Walmart the other day and I saw one of those like plastic plates and forks and cups for like summer picnics and they were all those bright Tokyo collection colors and I just thought man those bold blue and pink plastic plates would look great on Kelli! 😂

YES that last blue is totally a Hanukkah blue. And yeah I think every brand and almost every collection or core line has that 80's shimmery pink. Its almost every girls 'first nail polish color'. I have a few of them from a few different brands for my daughter. You can mix a little Blue Dawn into your shampoo to help remove some of that color. But make sure you moisturize after. I used that trick to remove blue from my hair a couple years ago. I didn't want to 'bleach' it out and turn it green so one of my instructors told me to use a bit of Dawn or a clarifying shampoo.

Rande Thorman That’s a great tip about the Dawn. I use it to bathe my white Persian cat when he’s looking a little dingy. I saw the tip online and it works. It’s not overly harsh either. ❤️

Shampooing everyday helps too but since you mentioned you had porous hair already, you'd have to do a lot of moisturizing too and maybe a condition or protein treatment too. The goal is to do it with minimal damage and stress so don't do it. Another trick is ACV (apple cider vinegar), I think its 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water. You can put it on your hair when its wet or dry, allow it to sit for about 5 to 10 mins then shampoo it out, follow up with conditioner. Bonus is if your hair is too alkaline it will balance the ph.

The Kunpai and Chopstix colors are very pretty. I don't know how the nail polish market works but some of the colors didn't seem very spring like while others looked like they are fresh out of an Easter basket. You hair still looks great 😎

Samurai Breaks a Nail looks like an awful grey to me, I don’t like it at all, not one bit! Still adore watching you and your videos and so does my mum! ;)
