@J hey I don’t get much chance to ask another fan, what do you think of the whole Opie vs Ant thing? I personally just wish they could just laugh about stuff and get over the personal bs and just get back together even though I know it’d never happen, but I do think we could see Ant and Jimmy together after Jim is done with Sirius. How do you feel? What would you want to see in your ideal world?

This is the perfect example of what made Patrice and Ant's friendship and chemistry so incredible and funny. Patrice knew saying "all we want is an apology" would annoy the shit out of Anthony. Patrice, Jimmy and Anthony's banter is some of the greatest radio of all time.

@joeyvanostrand36552 жыл бұрын
Of course he wants an apology, for something that in no way negatively affected him, from a group of people that have only fought tooth and nail to wildly advance his group of people. When you are only ever taught that you are not an equal, and never will be, and the only way you'll ever get ahead is by government handouts and by legislative mandate it's only natural for the recipients to want more. The requests just keep getting more and more outlandish.

It’s funny because the only topic that it’s easy to disagree with Patrice on is race (in this clip he sounds like every modern day far left social justice guy) and it happens to be the one topic where his emotions come before logic and reason. Given the current social climate and what we now know about the old days (things like BLM scamming people, over-correction of racial dynamics, the fact that only about 3% of the country took part in having slaves and a portion of that 3% were black men) I think Patrice would have changed his tune a bit. He would have absolutely hated the current politically correct society embraced by western culture.

@@SKa-tt9nm he didn't "have to" go to Brazil to get laid. He CHOSE to go there to live out his personal and outrageous sexual fantasies with absolutely gorgeous prostitutes who only wish to please after money changed hands. Those fine ladies provided a unique service that he, and MANY, other Men and Women around the world don't want to receive at home. "I want a lady in public and a whore in the bedroom" rings true for many of us to an extent. But honestly, and I mean it, be honest.... Would you be comfortable marrying a man or woman that would literally allow you to do anything to them short of injuring them? Looking across the dinner table every evening at a woman who sucked a fart out of your ass or standing next to a man who is drying the dishes you are washing with hands that have squished your logs of shit like Play-Doh?

Patrice might be the most overrated, philosophical talker ever in the comedy community. And I understand that me saying this might be controversial because he was beloved, more so now that he is dead, but this is the truth! A lot of the things he says is racist and makes no sense but because he says it with a "cool, hip black guy attitude" people listen and think "hey, that sounds legit". He was full of himself and a lot of people surrounding him fed his ego
@immanuelcunt72962 жыл бұрын
Being racist is funny, you horse's ass. And it's not about making sense. ALL racial discussions are emotional. They're about race RELATIONS. He's talking about the feeling. What's inaccurate about the analysis that the Jews who were persecuted in the holocaust had a particular figure who could be identified as their oppressor, whereas black people don't have such a figure to direct animus towards. Instead their symbol of oppressor is just the skin colour. What's inaccurate about the notion that many people, like Anthony, whose ancestors didn't participate in American slavery, and aren't even really white, get to sidestep racism by being accepted as white? Even when he was wrong, racially, he was still intelligent and original. "Most overrated philosophical talker ever in comedy". And I'm sure you know better than Bill Burr, Dave Chappelle, Norm MacDonald, Colin Quinn, Louis CK, etc. "He was full of himself". Yes, that's characteristic of comedians. I can hardly see why his friends, who routinely called Patrice an ugly, fat, loud, moron (and sometimes called him endearing, funny, and insightful) are feeding his ego. Plus, women were the thing he was primarily known for philosophizing about. Race was only secondary.

I just love how opie makes sure he keeps saying "listen to Kid Chris on WYSP". This is when o and a were on free FM as well as satellite radio and opie wanted so badly to just be on free FM and constantly shitted on Sirius XM. Then opie started loosing market after market and the greatest was when WYSP got rid of him. He lost his fucking mind and I highly recommend listening to the audio after loosing Philly. He didn't even cry when he lost New York but Philly killed him cause that's where the "Philly Crew" is maaaaaaaaan
