It is naive and stupid if you believe that stupid myth. Go to pubs around Manchester on a match day and they are full of red Mancunians and find out for yourself. Loads of reds in Salford as well. So stop talking rubbish by saying it is rare specimen to be a red Mancunian. There are loads of reds in Manchester. City's fanbase is mostly Stockport, Heaton Mersey, Heaton Norris, Heaton Chapel, Heaton Moor, Cheadle, Gatley, Glossop, Tameside and a lot in Oldham. But even in Oldham and Tameside there are loads of reds too. There are a quite of few City fans in Gorton, Ardwick, Moss Side, Fallowfield, Withington, Chorlton-on-Medlock, Levenshulme, but even in those areas there are lots of reds too. Every other area of the City of Manchester, such as Newton Heath, Miles Platting, Harpurhey, Blackley, Didsbury, Moston, New Moston, Collyhurst, Wythenshawe, Burnage, Clayton, Beswick, Openshaw, Northenden, Longsight, Hulme, Whalley Range, Chorlton-cum-hardy, Crumpsall, Cheetham Hill, and all the other areas of the city of Manchester are mostly red.
