She’s had opportunities and with her talent, she’ll have several more. JHud is great but the casting couldn’t be more perfect for this movie! Sure, there may be better actors, singers, etc out there… but you can’t recreate the bond/family that they have. It’s almost magical. I agree. I feel like Sherri spun that whole moment and tried to trap Oprah into making it seem like it was meant for her specifically. She took that soundbite and ran with it for clout. I think Oprah really meant it for all the ladies she's inspired in Daytime TV. I doubt that she would've singled out Sherri or any host in particular so publically, knowing that there are other women, esp Black women in the talk show space, who are holding their own and doing well. Either way, Jen doesn't have to concern herself with such desperate measures. She'll be fine.
