I hit my rock bottom with weight loss in March of this year. I was desperate to lose weight after being morbidly obese (100 pounds overweight) for 30 years. I asked my doctor if she could prescribe me Contrave. Insurance wouldn’t cover weight loss surgery, weight loss injections or pills (including Contrave). My doctor then prescribed me Wellbutrin which is an antidepressant but has been shown to be effective for weight loss. My husband was on it and had no desire to eat. After taking the pills for a month I got off them because it wasn’t working and I was experiencing heart palpitations I said all that to say this: I had to figure out what would work for ME. For me, that has been calorie counting and intermittent fasting. I’m down 20 pounds and for the first time in a long time I feel like I am on the road to success with my weight loss!

I don't know who you guys are, you just popped up in my feed today but I agree with EVERYTHING you said. Of course we all think about food or our next meal all day, duh. We must take personal responsibility for eating when we feel hungry or not. Loved this video. Poor Oprah, she's so rich but can't take responsibility for her actions.(what she puts in her mouth)

This is absolutely woke 2024 culture. 🙄They literally don’t want to take personal responsibility for anything that makes them “feel” bad. But yes- I would absolutely want to know the truth in the midst of the world’s lies. We are constantly being lied to in this world. I agree with you 100%!!!!!! Keep up the good work- there are still people in this world who don’t want to be lied to, me included. 💯💜 - also, PS… still love the ‘anti-woke weight loss’ idea lmao. It’s pretty great really.

She shouldn't have apologized for such a personal decision. Perhaps she used it as a tool to lose weight. You have to eat healthy and be disciplined. The shot will only do so much. Yes, the culture does make it difficult but not impossible.
