What stood out to me most: 2 things he said His statement: "Everyday I get to decide what my normal is" and also his comment on "Your workout can't outrun your fork"

Weightloss being a chance to share the Gospel is what resonated with me most, though so much of what he shared is powerful! As I’m on my own journey, I’ve been noticing opportunities to take the physical lessons that I’m learning and use them as analogies/ evidence of biblical principles. Truth is truth, of course. And really, it’s a transformation. To know that Jesus has done the redemption work and I’m now walking it out is a great undercarriage of a testimony.

This video really resonated with me. ❤ Esp the part where Pastor Curt said Jesus cares too much for you to let you be stuck in life. Let Him have ALL of you. I heard an analogy once where you think of your life as a house. Are you going to allow Jesus into only the living room where it’s nice and tidy (the part of you that everyone sees) or are you going to open the door to the other more secret “rooms” like the room of tv shows or reading that God would not be happy with, the rooms of complaining, gossip or hatred, and yes the kitchen where you eat to satisfy your sadness. Open ALL the doors of your life and allow Jesus to help you clean them up a little bit at a time.

Just signed up for January’s 21 day transformation! I’ve been telling myself all year that I could count calories and still eat whatever I want, but I’ve spent all year losing and gaining the same 10 pounds 🤦🏼♀️ Thanks for the video!

@@tlindsey5833 Most people struggle to lose weight. I walk you through a process that trains you to relate to food in a whole new way so you can lose weight and keep it off. We do this in the form of a 21 Day Weight Loss Transformation program. You will watch my sessions live(or recorded at your convenience)twice per week(Monday and Thursday at 7:00EST) and each session is about 40 minutes. These sessions provide critical accountability, community, coaching, and inspiration to empower you break some bad habits and patterns and renew your mindset. You are able to watch the videos and access everything you will need including your food list(large variety of normal foods), tips for success, and daily guidance with the convenience of the Trainer Joe App. There are no special foods, pills, or powders to buy. The average weight loss is 11 pounds in the 21 days. And most achieve a new mindset that helps them stay on the right path. We have a new group each month. This is not an exercise class. The cost is $89. It lasts 21 Days start to finish.

Context and then a question: I’m overweight. I’m 5’ 8” and 362 pounds today. I work 6 days a week as a ministry intern at our church. I’m married with four kids and in my limited free I compete in crossfit and weightlifting competitions. If I exercise over the prescribed 30 minutes a day in your program can I supplement those workout with calories from a protein shake?

That’s over 4 lbs a week! That is ridiculous! You have to know that is not just fat loss, but muscle mass as well. Absolutely not healthy!
@trainerjoes2 күн бұрын
@@kathynewkirk683 not true. I guarantee you that he is much healthier than when he started! Ask his doctor! You need to set your eyes on the prize and get it done! Fast or slow is not the battle here. It is to change the way you look at food and weight loss. Lose it and keep it off! Fast or slow is secondary.
