Oprah Winfrey Apologizes For 'Contributing to Diet Culture'

Stacey Brewer from H. Blu's Word speaks on Oprah Winfrey criticizing her past approaches to weight loss. At the WeightWatchers' "Making the Shift" live event, the former TV host confessed to being deeply entrenched in diet culture for decades. She acknowledged her significant contribution to it through her various platforms, including her talk show, magazine, and online presence, where weight-loss shows and makeovers were a common feature throughout her 25-year tenure in television.
Stacey will also share her personal struggles with weight and how she now approaches a lifestyle focused on health and not diet.
