This is an absolutely amazing upgrade. I installed it in my 1990s 92FS and I could not believe the difference. It performs just as shown in the video. The stock trigger is a bit sloppy with way to much over-travel. Now I have a nice wall and an extremely short reset and no over-travel. It is amazing that one little, inexpensive part can do so much. In my opinion, this is the most amazing part you can buy.

Given how this removes the notch that allows the firing pin block lever to disconnect from the trigger bar, won't this result in a full auto event in case the sear spring should fail?

I know this video is 3 to 4 years old. I do not have to explain these upgrades to the Berettas 92FS or the PX4 Storm. The over travel is gone on both pistols and the Reset of of your Trigger is so short, you have to pay closer attention to your trigger actions or you will miss the best performance of your investments.
@ejh665 жыл бұрын
I have the Elite LTT with the trigger job. How much shorter is the reset and over travel?
@LangdonTactical5 жыл бұрын
Its about a 70% reduction in reset distance over a gun with one of our trigger jobs and the Wilson Trigger Bar.
@carllove37055 жыл бұрын
This duralube finish that you spoke of. What parts are you coating in that finish? I love the way the NP3 finish looks on the gun in this video. I have already visited the LTT website and have added one of these pistols to my basket. I have chosen the OP Trigger bar, the LTT trigger job, NP3, and night sights. My total is going to be a little over $1600 after tax. But I want to know what parts are coated in the new "duralube" mentioned in this video, and what parts are coated in the NP3. I would very much appreciate knowing before I hit the check out button.
@ernestlangdon30755 жыл бұрын
On the NP3 guns, we have all the metal parts on the gun coated with NP3 except for the slide, frame, barrel and grip screws (already stainless). We do not coat the springs or roll pins. All the other pins and parts are coated to include the trigger, trigger bar, and all internal parts.
@micfasto87005 жыл бұрын
Does it come pre polished like the one in the trigger job in a bag did? Also the wilson works with the 12lb spring because of further double action hammer travel. Is this the same?
@LangdonTactical5 жыл бұрын
It should not need to be polished. We will lightly buff them in the Trigger Job and TJIABs, but it will not need much with that DLC coating.
@LangdonTactical5 жыл бұрын
First, it should not need to be polished. We got great results just dropping them in with that DLC or NP3 finish. They are already super slick. The extra hammer travel in DA is what causes most of the fitting issues with the Wilson Trigger bar and also why it has less over travel reduction. This trigger bar will cock the hammer farther than stock, maybe a few degrees less than a Wilson Trigger bar that did not need to be fitted. Just as far as one that did get fitted. If you have a gun with a Wilson Trigger bar that runs with your ammo with a 12lb spring, it will still run with a 12lb spring with this trigger bar.

One thing I noticed about this trigger bar is that since it limits the overtravel via the nub on the front of the pin that goes in the trigger, the sear is not pushed as far forward. This causes the hammer to rub the sear in single-action, unlike a stock bar, which pushes the sear out far enough that the hammer completely clears it when lowering the hammer manually with the trigger fully depressed from SA mode. Is this normal or even something to let bother me?
@LangdonTactical10 ай бұрын
There is no issue there, it is no different than any other type of over travel stop. And when the sear releases, it does not rub the hammer as it drops.

The only question I have is, why isn't Langdon offering a trigger guard milling option? The one and only thing I don't like about new Beretta's is the lack of the FS trigger guard cutout. What's up with that?

Can you be more specific? The inside of the trigger guard area of all Beretta 92s are the same and have been since the early 80s. Only the external dimensions have changed, i.e., rounded, square, etc.

@@chzzyg2698 Likely because people do not recommend putting a finger on the trigger guard anymore. It is also right where the light would be if you mounted a flashlight on the gun. So there would be no room for a finger.

It is somewhat simular. It is something we knew we could do for a long time, but lots of testing had to be done first. The big difference is the LTT OP trigger bar has an overtravel stop built into the trigger bar along with the short reset modification and the super-hard DLC DuraLube or NP3 finish. The 92X uses screws in the frame to adjust overtravel.
