I want to learn to meditation..my new job....actually made our unit relaxed and meditate yesterday and they got all of us 30 minute massage. I have never been cared for by an employer this way before. I feel so blessed. They even had us watch a movie called butterfly circus. To teach us how to turn things around from neg to positive. I am loving my life rite now.

Meditation is not about controlling the mind. You can't control it. Control is ego. What you want to do is not let the thoughts affect you and instead find the source of stillness that you are at your core. True meditation is about relinquishing all control, accepting / watching everything as it is, and to just be.

I do 2x 20 minutes a day, results are incredible, stress and worries disappear, notice things normally not noticed because your mind was elsewhere, appreciation of taste, clear uncluttered view of everything, living in the moment...

Hi Brian, great video and thanks for putting time to enlighten the world. I really liked the water bucket illustration. Could you make a video on Mastery by Robert Greene, I am currently reading this book but it seems to contain a lot. It would be of great help if I could get a summary video on it. Thanks again.

Thank you. Do those. So, I meditate in several ways for several reasons... one is to enter a purer Stream of Spirit. "Open the doors of your hearts. He Who is the Spirit verily standeth before them." ~ Tablets of Baha'u'llah, Baha'i Faith

PauliusGe Yes! I had a busy (poorly planned) morning when I needed to be in LA and planned to do it in the afternoon and TOTALLY forgot. Woke up the next morning in shock and grief. Laughing. :) Haven't missed a day since. That was a few years ago now. :)

The range of what we see and do Is limited by what we fail to notice. 1. Ultimate Reason: To serve others and to be at peace! It will help you transform and change yourself. 2. Mind is like water. Water mixed with cyanide become poisonous and the same water mixed with medicinal herb can save life. Meditation is like that. It allows your consciousness to be aware of present moment. Good or Bad. 3. How to meditate: Mood swings! Don't worry about those. Just start the meditation. Don't judge how it is. Recognize and focus on your feeling and thoughts, good or bad. 4. Mindfulness. More you are mindful about your thoughts, more you will be able to change them to be positive. Changing your thoughts will change your behavior and bring more clarity. 5. Do NOT pull plants. It takes patience to grow a crop, steadiness is indispensable for the practice of meditation. It does no good to pull your plants to make them grow faster!

What are those few more powerful ways than meditation?
@LinkEX

Depends on how we want to measure that power. Other important factors besides meditation are definitely quality sleep, proper nutrition, and exercise.

Thank you for providing clarity on mindfulness. Because of your videos, I have learned to notice what is going on in my brain and spirit. I believe it was Gandhi who said he never permits anything to walk in his mind with dirty feet. In the Judeo-Christian bible, the books/epistles of Proverbs, Matthew, Romans, and Corinthians addresses mindfulness, in order to create positive transformation. I perform burpees/bodybuilders(SEAL AND Marine Corps terminology), on a daily basis. When you can perform one hundred burpees/bodybuilders, with proper form and technique, on a daily basis, you will have a lot of stamina. You could try Cleamon "Big Evil" Johnson's one thousand burpees per day program. I am positive one thousand burpees per day will produce incredible mindfulness!

Yehuda HaMaccabi Amazing, Yehuda! Love (!) this: I believe it was Gandhi who said he never permits anything to walk in his mind with dirty feet.Hit 75 burpees today. 100 this month. Keep the body healthy and 300 this year. 1,000 would be so great!! :)
