I like the Mod to the flame spreader, 2 minutes to boil is impressive.

I grew up watching my parents use the Optimus 111B and they still have it.

I really love these little stoves. I wish they made a heater attachment for them too..

That was a lovely flame. You must have pumped with vengeance to get that large blosson.

actually no. these stoves roar with very little tank pressure and once lit, you only need to pump it up in extreme cold.

Wow, impressive heat. The only Kerosene stove I have is the Primus 96 and it does not have the burner adjustment that yours has . the 111B is better because you can control the heat better. The only way I can turn it off is to bleed off the pressure from the pump. Now I am going to have to find me a 111B stove. Thanks for the video demonstration.

Where did you get the extension for that visine bottle ?
@charlietango16356 жыл бұрын
Yes, I had 2 of these sent to me for repair and restore, 1 was very good and went like yours has here, but the other was too far gone to be saved and very little to use for spares

At time 6:15-6:35 there’s an extra effort to make this video different 😂😂

not so smart.. yes the high flame looks and sounds cool but you're dangerously close to popping the safety valve on the tank when you do that. the 111b also self-pressurizes from burner heat just like the optimus 8r and svea 123 stoves, so when you pump up the tank like you did you get a huge flame, but also a huge pressure rise in the fuel tank from the increased heat output. the only time you pump up the tank after lighting is if you are in extreme cold conditions.

What fuel does oil or gasoline use
@nunyabizness1995 жыл бұрын
That one uses kerosene.. The smaller one use white gas..
@marzsit98334 жыл бұрын
@@nunyabizness199 nope, the 111 burns kerosene, the 111b burns benzine(white gas). the difference is the number of vaporizing tubes in the burner head, the 111 has 4 but the 111b has only 2 since white gas is more volatile.

@@marzsit9833 And the 111T & 111C can also burn both fuels plus alcohol.
