hello, thank you for this helpful video, I have a question how many sessions should a person do these exercises to see real improvement in the range of passive cheek movement?

Research suggests around 10000 repetitions to change motor function/mastery. It’s good to consult with a SLP in your locality to set up a specific treatment protocol

Can you please add a disclaimer that these Oral motor exercises need to be done under the care of a licensed SLP. I had a patient come in and say that she found these videos on You Tube and now does not need to come in for speech because she has these videos. I tried to educate and state that these videos lack the feedback all patients need and education on WHAT exercises are most beneficial to that patient but she is going to "let me know" if she plans on coming back. This is a dis-service to our patients. I understand that these were probably made with the best intentions but someone is to think that this is all they need, like a workout video. Please put a disclaimer. Thank you.

There is a disclaimer in the description of each video created by these (two) licensed speech pathologists. The problem is some people don't take the time to read any disclaimer or other instructions.

If your child has speech difficulties and isn't already seeing one, he should see a licensed speech pathologist (speech therapist). Go by their instructions. The techniques for working with children may be different from the exercises shown in these and other videos and according to age and ability and/or the level of injury or disability. Ask your pediatrician for a referral to get the best help for your child.
