You almost had another miss. Luck is on your side with Connections, Oranje. Aside from the PROVIDIE MORE DETAILS category today, you also were lucky SPECIFYING some of the previous categories on other days (ie. Characteristics of Humpback Whale/GREATEST Hit Songs of Mariah Carey). You chose NOT to submit the purple category last. What is your secret for doing so well in this game? That is the million dollar question, Oranje. 😂 I was fine in Wordle/Connections and had some difficulty in Strands. How many people actually know "yoga poses?" Strands in my opinion was beyond ridiculous the other day wanting others to identify "types of swords."

Yet, OTOH, playing these games is a good idea because they will invariably be tested in Connections. When Yoga Poses or Swords is a connections category, we'll be ready.

Well today was that day. After seeing Bridge, and later Mountain, I was looking for great expanses or structures that span a gap. But not seeing other similar words, I began finding words that seemed to have nothing to do with each other. I finally found the Spangram near the end there wasn't much left! Connections : Easy today, no tricks, no word play. Nice catch on looking forward on the last two categories, one of the keys to this game. Peachy keen! 💛💚💙💜 I had a similar issue in Strands after spotting BRIDGE first. Eventually I remembered how fond the NYT puzzle staff seems to be of yoga. 🙂
