I am very excited. When I decided to keep a valentine gift Phalaenopsis I started to watch your brilliant videos. As a result my Aphrodite has new flower spikes on the way. That is not why I am excited though. I really got the orchid bug and after a few weeks with my first one I wanted more. However I promised my self not to buy another orchid until I had made my first survive and flower. Well now my little dear is making happy spikes. He was bought in a garage with lovely flowers on two spikes, two leaves and potted in a wet moss block with root rot. A year later he has seven leaves, new roots and two new spikes. So I have a new orchid on the way ! Guess who ? Chantilly Lace Twinkle ! I just fell in love. This will be a challenge. A new spiecies and I love in Southern Spain. Cold winter, cold house, bad light, and very hot in the summer. Can't wait. She will get light. She will have dry time, maybe a light. So thanks. I have learned so much from you. Great videos. .... They are sending it tomorrow.... So excited !

I ordered slotted pots from Repotme too and alot of sphagnum moss. They are the best. Before I started watching Danni's videos I didn't know they existed.

I am having a really difficult time choosing between Paphiopedilum Rosy Dawn and Wilsonara Habibi 'Pacific Pleasures' - both are so beautiful. My final choice is Rosy Dawn, bevause it is unusual to have a Paph with that shape without any brown. The Habibi is no doubt a nice choice for those desiring the classic Odontoglossum hybrids but who can't meet their requirements.

Hi Dani! Great video as always!! Thanks for the information! Question...I’ve never seen you appear in a video before, is there a reason why?
@Titanisz5 жыл бұрын
Hi Danny, this is my very first comment because I always watch you on my TV, but I have watched.. close to a 100 or over of your videos in the last 3-4 weeks since I found you. Your voice is so nice and of course, the content is amazing. I'm definitely a beginner so I drink up the knowledge. There was one video however I couldn't find but maybe you addressed it in comments, but I would so much like a video about where you currently shop or used to shop online. I heard a few nurseries you mentioned and that you nowadays rather shop from ebay but would so much like to see a video about what you like(d) on certain websites, what were your pros and cons, which ebay sellers you found reliable. Thank you in advance for considering it.

Hi Dani, everything looks amazing in your grow space. I was wondering if you are familiar with the Oncostele Rustic Bridge x Oncidium Crowborough orchid? I have one that is in spike/bloom and I have been watching the pseudo bulb and they are becoming very wrinkled. I water her before she becomes dry, she's still in the pot/mix that she came in when I purchased her (no ventilation holes in her pot, and she is in moss and some kind of sponge material. I read where you should slack up on the water while they are in bloom? That doesn't make sense to me. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you very much.

Hi Dani. I love Cattleya's, I'm from România and I want to ask if it was hard for you to make them bloom în this climate😊
@Msgabrielaarboleda5 жыл бұрын
Hi, Dany!! I've watched almost all of your videos and kind of haven't found an answer for this. I got an Oncidium that was very sick due to snails and I was forced to cut all of its roots. There was no new growth when I got it, so I have 4 old pseudobulbs with no roots at all in the moment living in a bed of Sphagnum Moss (As you explained in your ICU for orchids video). But I also remember you saying in a video of an Oncidium with almost no roots that the live of the orchid depended on the roots of new growths. But in my case is it possible that an Orchid with no roots produces a new pseudobulb? Or is it a lost cause? I would do anything to save her. :( I am very attached to my orchids, I saw all of your videos about Oncidiums before getting mine and I thought I was prepared for anything. But im at the moment a bit clueless and dont know what to to.. Thank you so much!

Could the noid cattleya be or related to varut startrack? I have bought one recently, hasnt bloomed for me yet but it’s supposed to have a similar flower, looks like a small sized plant and it is also unifoliate.

Hi Dani! As they say, “You’ve come a long way, baby!!!” Your cultural knowledge is exceptional as is your collection! I have a suggestion if you can acquire it. It is Clowesia Grace Dunn. A similar one is Cl. Rebecca Northen which has Grace Dunn as a parent. Be well and thank you for your friendship.

Hi Wade, how are you??? I miss seeing more videos, your gh is just a dream! Oh dear, I always put the Clowesia in my cart and always give it up, it is so so expensive here in Europe. I will be on the lookout still and I'll budget it one day, today is not that day hehe but thanks for the recommendation, it really looks wonderful! Thanks for thinking of me! 😘
