Pay the pastors and executive body their salary and let them pay for the goods and services given to them free. Education and health are expensive and the poor members who contribute to these institutions upkeep has to pay exorbitant fees to use them.

What people may not realize about the survey is that many of us never saw it, and others are not tech savvy enough to use a QR code, myself included. So a lot more people might have participated if it was more widely known and accessible regardless of age and tech abilities. My church in southern Oregon has mostly people in their 70s to 100 years of age. Most are lucky if they own a cell phone, only for making emergency calls! I'm seeing a consistent drop out in communications flyers from the conference on various topics and events.

At some point did the Oregon Conference advise its stakeholders (members)there was a financial problem? Certainly SOMEONE was conducting audits and reporting the findings. Conference leadership owes an explanation to it's members.

Romans 15:1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Sure the GC can supply not only cash , but training, and any needed experience from the many offices and schools under it's control.

They go Woke, they go broke. Last sabbath, the pastor got up in the pulpit glorified himself in the status that he has. He started cracking jokes, and then just kept saying that God loves you over and over and over and over again. Our tithe should not put food on Jezebel's table, while Elijah's out there being fed by birds. Their stirring appeals were in marked contrast to the assurances of peace and safety that were heard from popular pulpits; and wherever the message was given, it moved the people. GC 369.1 God does not send messengers to flatter the sinner. He delivers no message of peace to lull the unsanctified into fatal security. He lays heavy burdens upon the conscience of the wrongdoer, and pierces the soul with arrows of conviction. DA 104.1

The Pastors have families and experiences I really don't believe we understand what the Bible says when it speaks about let there be meat in my HOUSE, and God doesn't live in the church building so that needs to be figured out. Again let there be meat in my house, not to sit in the bank growing interest when our Pastor have their families to feed and their children in school/ college or universities , we have to be careful how we treat our Pastors the are God's Masterpiece when the tithes goes in the store house that doesn't mean it is to sit there to grow interest the Pastors have their families to take care of , we need to take a look in God's book and treat our Pastors right and please God and shame the devil and give everyday in every way our Pastor are God's Masterpiece and mouths piece Blessings everyone
