Hi Gemma ! I made this cake 2 weeks ago for my little brother's birthday and it was an absolute hit! I must say, personally I wasn't a fan of the chocolate sponge because it wasn't as chocolatey as I thought it would be, but everybody else loved it! I decorated with crushed up oreos around the sides of the cake, a chocolate ganache drip, piped whipped cream and oreos on top! Thank-you so much for this recipe!

Gemma, a really good tip: when you're icing, place some parchment underneath the cake sides, then when you're done, pull it out, so the cake stand has no icing on the bottom!

Yum! Thanks for the yogurt tip! We used it once in pancakes (replaced liquid with half water and half yogurt) because we were out of milk and now prefer them that way. Now I know why!
