Taquiesha when you water in the shed, go to the dollar tree and get some of their black “oil’ pans that is supposed to be used for changing car oil. It’s black, round, at least 4in deep and has a pour lip. So excess water can be used for the next plant. This way you can sit the plant in there and bottom water and fertilize . You will not get fungus gnats, they are light weight and stackable, and very durable. 😊

When I overwinter the bell pepper Plants or even the lemon tree that I have Meyer lemon in a pot, you can go to the dollar store (dollar tree )and go into the aisle where they sell the motor oil and you can buy those drain pans I guess for that when you change your oil it’s like $1.25 right buy 10 of them and they work perfectly for bottom watering pots. I use some grow bags so sometimes in Texas heat and I use those plastic containers I think they’re for oil but put them under the grow bags are under your pot and bottom water. I probably got about 10 of them just to be on the safe side because in the winter I bring those plants. In.. found that idea from another KZbinr. So I have like stations throughout my garden I got on the side of my house the front of my house the back of my house the beside back of the house so I have created stations dollar tree sells those little hooks and I have bought about four or five of them and I drilled them in the walls of the stations and in each station I have those dollar tree scissors that are in the kitchen area I have one I have some shovels I have all kinds of tools has its own so I don’t walk around looking for stuff I do buy from Amazon some better tools but the dollar tree has some OK as well 🌱🌱🌱

You mentioned how bad your mosquitoes are and we have them bad here too. I recently got bit numerous times in one evening and had quite the welts. I used calendula oil (that I made), oregano & tea tree essential oil on them and I am shocked that they were completely gone the next day with no lingering itching.

Have you ever tried Plantain for scratches and bug bites? It’s a common “weed” that grows in most yards. I was skeptical, but after the first time I used it, I’m hooked! You can make infused oils or salves, but the easiest way to use it is to chop it up and make a poultice with water. For on the spot relief, you can actually just chew the leaves, then put the chewed up leaves on the affected areas. I promise it’s not as gross as it sounds 😉 I have even put it on bruises, and they so quickly!
