I have 3 of those carts and if you keep the little tool you can just tighten them and they're as good as new :) I also don't move mine around at all, they stay sitting against a wall, so maybe that's why I've never had a problem with them!

Ohhhhhhhh…yea I have no idea where that tool is lol but you are probably right! I’m glad they work for you, what do you use them for?

@@chelsieevans One of them is for weekly copies (mon-fri) plus to-grade and to-file. One holds ELA centers, and one holds math centers!

You're right about those carts.. I have never understood why so many teachers on here are crazy about them? I've had one like the one you have and I've had one that was like shorter and wider with two columns of drawers and it was expensive, but I ended up just giving it away. I hated it. But that's a good idea repurposing the drawers like that... You can always make some cute labels to hide the opening where the knob used to be and no one will ever know. :)

They’re very cute, especially when you put those labels on the outside. But yea I would strongly recommend anyone getting different carts because these are just way too flimsy. Glad to know I’m not the only one not in love with them though! Lol

I 100% agree with those 10 drawer carts. I don’t understand how teachers rave about them 😂 they are so expensive but cheaply made. The drawers never slide nicely and break so easily. I have one for myself because if used it for student materials it would just be a hot mess.

Right?!? I wanted it to work so badly but I never used it for myself my first year and then making it a supply center for students totally failed for me lol

I think you’re talking about my back wall but it’s actually not wall paper. I made that design out of cricut vinyl and stuck each piece to the wall

Great organizing tips. I can’t wait until classroom moving day. #12thGradeMathTeacherHere #Year10

In the organizing process now, we have to move rooms every year, so it's always an opportunity to purge and rethink things!

@@chelsieevans The charter school life, it's wild! All of the rooms are different sizes, so they place you depending on what your class size is.

Oh wow! I guess that makes sense, but that would be very stressful for me lol I’m a planner.
