Absolutely wonderful pantry and so organized. I bet a lot of lady's have pantry envy LOL A few years back my neighbor a very gifted carpenter came over and redesigned my pantry which is similar to yours and it made such a huge difference on organization. Plus he put a small trim piece of wood across each shelf 1-1/4" so there would be 1/4" above the shelf to prevent can's etc. from slipping off the front edge of the shelves. Boy has that saved my toes from canned foods falling off and onto my feet...OUCH. LOLOL God's Blessings and what a talented gifted hubby you have.

Don't you just love it when it all comes together? Great job building the pantry and great organizational skills. I, too, turn all my items so the labels are facing the same direction and try to group like items in the same area. My husband says I have a compulsive disorder ! ; ) I say having everything organized makes life easier. Love your channel and have been watching it for a little over a year. I became aware of it when I was researching rocket stoves. I was looking for a project that my grandchildren and I could do together. We built it and cooked dinner of hot dogs and ranch beans for everyone. It was a great success! Keep the adventures coming. God's blessings on you both.

When I had my kitchen remodeled I had a broom closet put in to hold broom, mops, etc. I installed a hanger that holds them against the wall and on the opposite side, I have a nifty rack for foil, waxed paper, etc. So handy. If it was closer to the stove, I would consider racks on the door like you have. Yours in so nice and convenient.

My dad was, he made and did a lot of DIY ( do it yourself), in fact built himself a workbench for all his supplies in the basement. The only thing my dad didn’t tinker with was electrical things. Love that everything has a place! My father in law had the smallest outdoor shed that he figured out using every nook and crany to fit all of his tools in. I know you must feel so good to be able to find everything quickly. On another note I was looking on a china replacement website and came across the sweetest little teacup. Thank you for sharing! Lovely pantry! I live pretty simply, and because of that, organization isn't always my forte. But in the last week or two I've ordered three white hard plastic storage shelves online for $38 each, and they are 4' high (you can make them shorter if you want and use the top two for another shelf (for kids rooms) with four shelves. They look fine, and are sturdy enough to handle heavy items. I put two up in the bedroom, free-standing, last night, to hold shoes and boxes of books. Now I have more floor space. I put another one beside my washing machine to get all the washing plus other items off the floor. I don't want to pound holes all over the house for shelving. It's not necessary. And these are so light I can move them anywhere. They don't cost much, and I'm getting more of them for the back porch. I don't have a tool shed, so I have paint cans, a leaf blower, a small wet vac and tools that are all over, back there and in the house. Once up, the shelves will be covered by pretty fabric or ruffled curtains so they look nice. These shelves are great for food storage. Many people are wondering where to put food and other preps. These shelves are click together shelves that a five year old could click together with no screws, no hardware or tools needed. You can make them as deep or as tall as you want. You can anchor them to the wall if you want. Keeping heavy stuff on the bottom helps keep them more stable, depending on how high you go. The last order I got was from Spreetail, but there are others about the same price. For children's rooms, pantry areas, anywhere, they are great. Even my cat likes them.

I guess thinking of you in your first wee-tiny home, to taking on this one with 'Pops', then moving on and beginning your add-on and watching U be cramped up while the long build happens. I enjoy your videos I am 73 female living in a 910 square ft house for last 49 years I do what I can to make my house more easy to get around in and be able to keep it clean. I installed my washer and dryer in the smallest of my three bedrooms and made it a walk in pantry using stainless steel shelves. My grandson helps me with arranging things when he can. So I am doing similar things with different materials. Love your ideas .
