What great teamwork! Elizabeth picked such pretty colors and Bill pulled it all together. The dark wood looks so rich against the Rosebud color. The bunk bed solution is really perfect. Migraines are so painful and make you nauseous and sick, I know from having them. I pray the doctors will find out what is causing them and be able to help her. Have you tried Toradol IV to treat the migraines? It has to be administered through IV to help me, the shot doesn’t work, something about the sed rate. God bless.

I love how a coat of paint can really begin to transform a home. It's looking lovely! I'm with Elizabeth on the dark on top in the bedroom, it really works. Great job getting it all painted Bill. I don't use tape either, unless I'm painting a room with carpet!

I’d go with a daybed and trundle beneath. Then it can be used as a sofa during the day and 2 twin beds for guests. The house is cute!

I’m with you,Bill. I can use an angled brush and cut in a whole lot faster than taping everything off! I’m 70 and have painted the inside of my entire house. I’m going to paint the outside this spring. I’m a firm believer you can do anything you put your mind to “through Christ who strengthens me!” Oh and I’ve had both knees replaced. I also do all my yard work!

Elizabeth, the colors are all perfect! And you're right, Bill is, indeed, a master painter! And your painting you chose for the living room really does look as though it was made for the room! I can't wait to see what all you choose, for throughout the house. I do understand the thrill at getting to pick stuff out you love! About 5 years ago, we got a storage shed/cabin to go on our 10 acres. One end of it is totally mine, to have an office, get away, you name it space. I loved either finding things in our house to move out there, or finding thrift store treasures. And the things I wanted just seemed to show up at the perfect time! Bill, the Romance and Rosebud colors shouldn't cause too much anxiety since pink has been used in college visitor locker rooms to calm down the opponent and sleeping in the MBR should be easy enough -- just close your eyes! :) What a lovely home sweet home.

I'm so glad you had that other guy come and help for one room. Too bad he couldn't have helped more! I hope he cooperated and did what you wanted him to do! LOL. My mother painted our houses when I was little, and I remember her never taping anything. And she would put down ONE sheet of newspaper to set her paint can and tools on. It seems to me that NOT taping is the best way if you can just train yourself to be careful and take your time. I envy your steady hands. I have tremor, so I would not even touch a paint brush any more. I might do the rolling if I had to.

The house with the new paint looks fantastic! I really love your ideas for decorating the master. With the paint being darker above the chair rail, that should actually help Bill sleep longer, lol. Another option down the road if you feel like you need a change, a lighter shade of green above the chair rail would be pretty in Elizabeth's office. It would bring out the palm trees in the wallpaper strip. I just love watching what you two are doing with this home and enjoying Florida as much as I do. ❤

I’ll be frank, red is the last color I would paint a bedroom.BUT with that said, I understand where you are going with this. I cannot wait to see your results Elizabeth. I love that you are taking a risk and trying something unique. After all it is just paint as ya’ll said. If you don’t like results it is an easy fix. What a blessing about the mold remediation! You make me want to heal more physical pain stuff and my niece praise God Got through 2 plates and screws on her ankle the 31 and now the journey really begins..you are a wonderful painter,,,the people who did my place were not good like you...I am taking notes...i would have no patience with tape..and as usual you are kind to less can do's with the how tos'.
