It was like two timelines had crossed there is something about the original that is so original and set in the time it came out in those days of long hair colourful shirts and music that has been lost a bit these days a couple of guys who popped up right where they're needed in TV history that lead the way for cop movies and retro style movies though the years to follow or return. David Soul a young actor who became a star alongside his costars and things were never to be the same. David and Michael were the greatest pairing and they were the original good cops and played it close to the edge and possibly inspired real-life detectives. This series was hugely popular and important for the times. One thing I recall was there was a love between them like brothers and honesty through the years till the end, but it wasn't the end it was just a matter of time the a reboot movie. David Soul the man behind the character was a troubled man, but his face never stopped smiling his stardom overshadowed his private life, but he kept on with his work. A good guy yes and no. A star is definitely a shining star. David's star shines forever across the world of a brilliant ceramic duo of two friends. Mr David Soul I thank you a million times over for Hatch and Starkie a series full of colourful coolness and a strong friendship of two men and a Huggy Bear of cool. God Bless David's Soul forever RIP time for zebra one to sign off?
