@@volvosweden Yes idd , according to the car salesman, there is only 2 Volvo xc70 t6 with everything that was manishelbella to putt in the car, ever sold in Norway . List price was 1.3mil Norwegian kroner= $150k ish .. ofc i did NOT pay that much , so in 2017 i got this Pearl black metallic baby for 57k ! You are one rare firesoule off the Volvo P3 T6 on the nett and a big inspiration !! long time fan here !!! Never stop , have a good day !

Added this subwoofer (newer model without amplifier) to V70 year 2013 with premium sound system. It was too hard to make factory add-on (nobody know the S/N for factory amplifier with subwoofer channel), so I put little mono amplifier under the passenger seat. Took high input from factory amplifier and took speaker cable to boot. Subwoofer box went to orginal place, but I had to cut for the subwoofer a hole to lower midsole and cut the stiffener beam from upper midsole. I think that in factory assembled subwoofer there is different midsoles already.

It's an add-on for the Premium Sound package (Dynaudio or Harman Kardon depending on MY). Did cost around 3000kr extra on my V70 MY16 if I remember correctly. Have Bower and Wilkins in my new V60CC now which is awesome.

Hi Yuri, My P3 XC70 in the UK has the Dynaudio sound system installed which was a premium ICE option which cost the original owners £1000 to have fitted to the car. It’s an amazing system that is so clear and precise, however it doesn’t have the subwoofer in the boot. I’m not sure if that is because Dynaudio didn’t require it or because it’s an additional option on top of the system I have. Dynaudio are a Danish company who are currently working on premium systems for VAG vehicles. I’m interested to see how yours sounds. Thanks. 😊

@@volvosweden It gets cold in the workshop I rent, sometimes as low as -6°c but it will likely be a lot colder where you are. For heat in my workshop I have a powerful fan heater blowing against a sheet of steel which heats up and acts like a radiator. I will have to try and find out if the subwoofer is an option with my sound system because it could make an excellent system better.

Had this sub in my 2008 V70II and when we bought a 2010 V70 without it I checked with Volvo if it was possible to retrofit it and they said that it wasn't possible, as the optical cabling was not installed in my car.. now I understand as it takes quite a lot of work... 😬 Have had original subwoofer in 2002 and 2004 V70's too, and I actually think it sounds better...

I found a wrecked car with the woofer inside. I will deconstruct the vehicle to get out every cable. I have not dug into activation bit of it. Yet. I don't have vdash.

Awesome, just a question on your Coolant change on your V50. Have you had any problems with changing the colour of the coolant or is the car running fine? I was told if you change your coolant form orange to green it can cause issues. Thanks

How do you plan to get around the MOST system? ITP remove will probably not be enough

@@volvosweden Yes, then you turn off MOST on the stuff that is in your car. But previous owners must also turn off the MOST of the subwoofer before disassembling it, otherwise your car will not accept it. It will be exciting to see if it works. I tried to mount a used 7 "screen in my car but the car does not accept it because it was dismantled before MOST was switched off on the car it was in.

Hey. I did the same as you. I added a subwoofer. But the subwoofer works only for 40 sec. And when the car engine is running, it doesn't work. Can you suggest something what I can do?

Are you sure about that Tommy? I’ve got the sub from factory in mine but it’s a late 2007 early 2008 model P3. I don’t think the headunit is new enough to support DAB at this age?

I need your help please ! 2010 XC70 T6: I wil pay u for your time. So, today while driving on the freeway my check engine light started flashing… then my temp gauge lit up, the I noticed a sluggish feel. Pulled over. Shut the car off, and it would start but real sluggish. Called AAA. Got home. TrueDepth to start it again, and all it does it crank but no start. I’m thinking possibly fuel pump? oil and coolant are perfect. As it’s always properly maintained. Ideas? I check the codes and it shows all misfires, electric fan and a couple of others.
