Tony VK3AML known as "The Branch" had a station in Elsternwick Melbourne from the late 1960's till early 80's. His transmissions were very popular in a time that there was not much else to listen to except to main stream Commercial and ABC stations. Many people tweeked their radios a bit to get the one sixty metre transmissions, normally around 1840Khz on an ordinary AM broadcast set as the frequency is just above the broadcast band. The transmissions were very innovative both in programs and technically. Usually duplex conversations on various topics and late night music shows.
Original Film By Mr M Mercer. (The Knock)
